One slab stands in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lies on top of the five slabs, which are astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provides some notes on the history and purpose of the guidestones. The structure is sometimes referred to as an "American Stonehenge".[1] The monument is 19 feet 3 inches (5.87 m) tall, made from six granite slabs weighing 237,746 pounds (107,840 kg) in all.[2] The anonymity of the guidestones' authors and their apparent advocacy of population control, eugenics, and internationalism have made them an object of controversy and conspiracy theories.

Keep in mind this is how these people view reality. They really think that they are in the midst of a war with Satan fighting for control of the world.

And this is why it's so hard to deal with these people.  They do not operate in objective reality.

Senate GQP just blocked a domestic terrorism bill.  Of course they did, since they are domestic terrorists.  VOTE THEM ALL OUT.

Hard to do that when we have people on this site that won’t pull a lever for a democrat because of muh gunz. They don’t care how many kids die.

A candidate for the GOP nomination for governor of Georgia refused to concede defeat even though she received only 3.4% of the vote on Tuesday.

Kandiss Taylor, a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump, came third in the race.

She received significantly fewer votes than David Perdue, who had Trump's formal endorsement, and incumbent Gov. Brian Kemp, who won by 73.7% and secured the nomination.

After the results were clear, Taylor complained that the election was "rigged" against her, The Daily Beast reported.

"We have a national data team working on the 2022 primary election fraud. More will be forthcoming," Taylor campaign spokesperson Christi Maude told The Daily Beast. "Dr. Kandiss Taylor does not concede."

(Taylor has a PhD in school counseling and supervision.)

Her approach contrasts with that of Perdue, who got significantly more votes than Taylor with 21.8%, but conceded to Kemp on the night of the count.

As Insider's Tom Porter wrote, a significant number of Trump endorsees are not following his example in refusing to accept defeat, even when he explicitly urges them to.

"Given that my vote total currently lags my number of volunteers by nearly 20,000, I do not trust these election results and neither should any supporter of either of my opponents or candidates in any other races," Taylor said in a press release.

Taylor received 41,027 votes.

"It is my opinion that our elections in Georgia have become a travesty spearheaded by the corrupt, organized, willful assault that Governor Brian Kemp, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Attorney General Chris Carr, and gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams have inflicted on our election process," the press release continued.

"I do not concede," she wrote.

On her Telegram, Taylor shared a message referring to the vote as a "rigged election."

Taylor ran her campaign on a "Jesus, Guns, Babies" platform, Insider previously reported.

During an anti-abortion speech last week she criticized the separation of church and state, a principle that has underpinned US democracy since the American Revolution.

"We are the church! We run this state," Taylor said.

I was in Port O'Connor for Memorial Day Weekend and there are a couple of beaches accessible only by boat where lots of people gather. There are "Let's Go Brandon" and Trump flags flying from boats aplenty. You get the scene. I overheard one conversation where the guy said, "I think the Democrats were behind COVID. I wouldn't put it past them."  He was dead serious. So we have that going for us, which is nice.

These crazy fucks are accusing their own party of voter fraud when they lose

Its one of the worst aspects of MAGA. From the start, Trump has relentlessly reinforced the idea that if he doesnt win, its fraud. Once the GOP adopts that mentality, it makes perfect sense that every election will now just have winners and winners who actually lost due to fraud. As ridiculous as it seems, if enough of these morons believe that their own internal elections cant be trusted, they will never trust any election, period. And thats just fine with Trump and his moronic followers. Its actually preferable. Elections are hard. Conning the rubes is much easier.

Hey I was in POC over the weekend too! Lol saw the sheriff get called on a couple of punk ass kids with "FUCK JOE BIDEN" and "NO MORE BULLSHIT" flags on their golf cart in Alligator Head on Friday.

Loads of thin blue line flags, even one that didn't even have the US flag motif just a blue line on a black flag. Very fascy on front beach

If the Democrats were that competent and organized, Republicans would have already been a permanent minority party by now.

I've had a boat down there since I was a kid. All the aggresive dumbassery has me less inclined to go, and never on a Holiday weekend.

My family has had a house down there since before I was born. I've owned a house there since 2005. We are selling it now. This is one of the reasons.

We’ve stopped going to POC for holiday weekends.

Tired of traffic backing up with guys making $70k/yr at the plant driving their $80k pickup pulling a $80k boat, both replete with “Let’s Go Brandon”, “Fuck Joe Biden”, and “MAGA” stickers.  House after house with Trump 2020/2024 flags, golf cart after golf cart with blue line flags.  Speedy Stop backed up out the door with fat, stupid, drunk rednecks who, at best, are simply out to enjoy a weekend where they don’t consider anyone beside themselves, but at worst, are looking for someone to try and bully or fight, littering as they go.  The party of fiscal responsibility, family values, and self-reliance splayed out in all its irony.  POC on holiday weekends is nothing but a political convention, highlighting the depressing reality that our state is made up of a majority of angry bigoted idiots.

See now a normal person would respond to that with something like "Oh wow, I'm sorry. I was totally wrong there wasn't I. Must have had it confused with something else".

But not this bunch. Just keeps rolling without even an acknowledgment.

Dem 1:   We need to do something big to regain relevance.  How about we convince all the members of our party in the Senate to overturn the filibuster so we can pass popular legislation like voting rights, background checks for gun purchases, and protect abortion rights?

Dem 2:  That is way to difficult and complicated.  Instead we should recruit the top scientific minds in the world to bioengineer an incredibly virulent man-made virus that will cause a world-wide pandemic and cause a global shutdown for multiple years, and kill millions cause that will help us beat Trump in 2020.   This project will require 100's of billions of dollars in funding, and  we need to do this in complete secrecy and need to prevent any of those those thousands of scientists and their assistants that we recruited for this project from ever talking to anyone, including their family members.  If even one person talks to the press or law enforcement, we may get blamed for this, but i think we can manage that risk.

Dem 1:  It's fool proof!

Yep.  Imagine how insanely stupid an idea can be.  Then, once you have reached the limits of your imagination, multiply that stupidity by a trillion.  The resulting idea would STILL be more sane and common-sense than anything in the average GQP brain.

We have given our country over to the fucking stupidest thinking in the universe.  Somewhere in the universe, there is a planet where sentient fecal matter has evolved, and even THOSE guys look at us and go "at least we're not THAT bad."

Plus, I would wager every one of those "men" bought one of those sun lamps to bronze their tiny phalli.

It looks like their boat is perfectly set up for them to row out to the middle of the lake and sunbathe nude to tan their taints.  Looks purpose built.  Tucker has gotta be pissed they have an alternative to buying the ball tanning machine he invested in.  Hillbillies from Mississippi call it "the sun and a party boat".

Remember when New Mexico Senator Pete Domenici ---- a Republican ---- fucked another Republican Senator's daughter (the daughter of Paul Laxalt, Republican Senator from Nevada), impregnated her, and she gave birth to Adam Laxalt?  No? Well that happened about 40 years ago.  Anyway, Adam grew up and is now a Trumpkin (because of course he is). He is Trump's pick and is presumed to be the favorite for Nevada's GOP senate primary. BUT NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS!   The bastard child Laxalt has now got a really strong, populist opponent for the GOP nomination and might lose:

Here's the backstory on how Domenici boinked Laxalt's daughter and then kept it hidden for decades:
