So Alabama won in Georgia and Georgia won in Georgia

Atlanta is kinda a Bama town tbh.  The way Dallas has more OU people.

I hardly see any UGA fans where I live.  It's all Bama and GT.

I can't wait to revisit all of this when the G5 schools get throttled in the first round.

It's irrelevant. Had to throw them a bone and give a 16 a chance to beat a 1.

Didn't have to.

The SEC and Big Ten should tell everyone else to pound sand if they don't do what they want.

They can now. They control the process. They get to pick the new format this January. They have 51% of the power so they get to make a unilateral joint decision.

Two divisions in every P4.

Play everyone in your div.

Play one team in each of the other P4.

Div leader is in. That's top 8. Period. They host 1st round.

Then come up with some goofy shit for the other 8. G5 can qualify, somehow.... Or not.

16 teams. No byes. No CCG.

ND,  you're in the ACC.

Set up a system without the ACC and Big 12.

Sounds good unless Tech wins it all this year and completely deligitimizes it.

It'll never come to that. Hopefully Alabama gets left out so the bigger conferences use their leverage to get the changes needed to make sure the best teams are in the CFP.

And I guess mix in a cross division game or two every year, too.

P4 has to be 16 team conferences. Figure that out amongst yourselves.

That's the NCAA's realm. FBS football is not.

Itc will be the conference's realm once two conferences leave the NCAA for football...

That's the way it is now. The NCAA doesn't have much to do with the FBS championship.

But the conferences are cooperating. That's the point.

Break the cooperation in football and basketball is next.

Do the conferences have any major issues with the current basketball path to a championship though?

Maybe, but do you think any of these schools are going to leave the NCAA when football is already kind of its own thing?

If they aren't getting football playoff money, they will be wise to come up with an " all in or all out" stance...

It would also be wise to not upset the schools who create a disproportionate share of that football playoff money.

Alabama beat Georgia in regular season. Georgia skull fucked us.

Nobody on the committee likes Texas. They’ll do whatever they can to fuck us over.

Hear me out, don’t lose 3 regular season games

Bama‘s last two games sucked shit. Should’ve lost to Auburn and they got their asses handed to them by Georgia. Not a good finish to the season.  But yet those fuckers could make it into the playoffs. Don’t get me started about OU. They played like shit against LSU at home. It’s a possibility they could even make the CFP.

Using your dumbass logic then we should be 7-5

So we beat Oklahoma and Aggie…both are in the playoffs. Fuck that dumb noise. Bama shouldn’t be in

Where the hell do you live? Way more UGA fans in Atlanta proper and the close-in suburbs than Bama. That’s not to say Bama and Auburn don’t have large fanbases in the metro area.

If you schedule an FCS team, you should be ineligible for the CFP.

That would take care of that.

Or at mimnimum, just don't count those as real games, wins, etc in terms of the playoff.

What’s your argument? Bama shouldn’t be in is mine. It has nothing to do with us being in

I know it's not going to happen, but as a Texas expatriate living in Oregon, Why can't we plug Texas in at #12 and send the Horns to Autzen. I know that for Oregon, it wouldn't be an easy pushover that the #5 team deserves, but Texas at Uncle Phil's house would be must see tv, and I would love to see the Horns at Autzen. So much more interesting than JMU at Ducks
