Y’all are building yourselves up to get let down. I think we lose this one by 14. Too many things have to go our way and we just haven’t looked like a team that can play a complete game… particularly on the road.

This is a chance for Arch, Sark, and the team to make a statement and shut up the doubters.  I hope they are the more physical team, bust Georgia in the mouth, and prove they are truly contenders.

Fuck all that, we're going to win and shake up the standings this weekend.

Yes!!

And Sark needs to yell in the post game interview “We didn’t come here to take pitchers!!”

Nah, we are going into Athens and  laying down chaos. Ant Hill,  Simmons and Mookie are about to drag their nuts all over the field.  They are lucky Bevo is not coming, because he would not only eat 20 yards of hedge but he would leave a healthy pile on the way out.

As long as we lose by less than 10, it's a favorable outcome that keeps us in the CFP hunt. Blowout loss might knock us out regardless of what happens the last two games.

We will be the more physical team. We were last year in the sec championship game. The problem is that even if I think we’ll be the more physical team , Georgia is just as physical and are at home. Our defensive toughness will make this a game tho. Let’s fuck em up

I wonder how many people here who are already resigned to a loss are gonna come around after the horns win in Athens and try to act like they think this team can make a run.

It's the same miserable dickheads that were comparing this year to 2010 earlier in the season.

Oh come the fuck on. Back to back OT wins against much worse opponents in our recent SEC road games. The Vandy game was great and the 4Q was a butt fuck from the refs, but this team is objectively lucky to be 7-2. Texas has to surprise in multiple ways Saturday to win. There’s no justification to expect to win. Georgia should be favored, but we have a great opportunity. Arch has played his best 5 quarters of ball prior to this game which gives us hope.

Well that would prove some shit so what would be wrong with that? Isn’t that how it’s supposed to work? Don’t go to OT vs Miss st and Kentucky then almost blow it against an overrated Vandy team and I may think differently

Georgia has also looked like shit against some teams including a fcs team at home. Does that matter ,or is Texas the only one that sucks? We may lose but give em hell. Fuck those guys.

We’re talking about a Georgia team that very easily could have lost 3 of last 4 games. They’re good, but people in here are acting like they are 2000 Miami.

No shit. They are good but so are we. Home field advantage is what they got. Tough game like all of them. The team that protects the qb best and minimizes turnovers will win. Win or lose make those cocksuckers feel it.

We should all realize by now the college game is funny. Sometimes crazy shit happens. I like our chances.

Maybe they kick our asses.

Maybe we kick their asses.

Tee it up and let’s go.

Exactly what I’m saying. I don’t understand the “Georgia will blow us out” thought at all. We may lose, but the path to a blowout isn’t really all that likely IMO.

this goes 2 ways. Huge key for the Texas secondary will be to tackle well. Georgia throws a ton behind the LOS. Tackling was pretty poor vs Vandy. They tackle like that vs Georgia; the Bulldogs will put up 30.

I learn so much from watching this guy. He seems like he knows some shit.

btw I never see rail on the refs but in this one he called about 6 holds no flags thrown.

we are going to get fucked by the refs.

Refs could go many ways

Most likely - simply incompetent, disadvantage usually to the team trying to pull the upset on the road as bad calls stack on top of other challenges the favored home team doesn’t traditionally face

Somewhat likely - human bias for older guard SEC schools like UGA, disadvantage Texas

Least likely - overt marching orders from SEC home office, advantage Texas as conference looks to maximize CFP teams

I’ve never thought it was the sec office. But a guy who lives in Memphis or Macon and has his own SEC pride from 13 years of reffing and a lifetime of watching SECx3 ain’t exactly wearing the stripes without giving a newcomer reason to worry, and the results on the field and seen on tape only confirm that suspicion.

I lost track of who’s there now and injuries I’m just hoping our safeties back make it a bit tougher.  But yeah the Vandy plays that worked or that should of worked concerned me
