Arch's run is a candidate. Also, first interception. Go back and you see their WR just put his head down.

Oh there is plenty of supporting evidence, but it's aggie. The INT that leads to kneeling the ball, that sticks in their myth and delusion filled brains of muck.

One of the best home game crowds in recent memory.   Stadium still full all the way to EoT

Please tell me “POOOOOOOOR AGGIES!” was chanted across the stadium. I couldn’t hear it on tv. It’s been 15 years and some of our fans may have forgotten or are just too damn young to know.

its called being a fan. and using your heart. I didnt think this team coud win ou after our shitshow against non-confs and florida loss, brain said no, heart said watch you wimp. and the first half was a heartbreak and then we won. soething similar against a&m.

brain says we are 1 and done if we get to the payoffs. heart say get in the motherfucker and lets c.

Exactly. That's the Paradox of Futile Desire, which I laid out below. I understand why people want it, and I do too, but there's a rationale that says it's just showing up this year. I'm not just a fan, I'm a grad and I bleed burnt orange, but I also understand that sometimes you have to be real. I will obviously cheer if we make it an hope for the best, obviously. But Georgia was just 3 games ago, and it was brutal. Beating your rivals is one thing, but getting beaten at every position while also losing out best defensive player  in the process showed how far behind we truly are this year.

aggy call in show is good clean fun.

Guy complains about Elko's extension, derails it until the next commercial break.

Another guy says something about Elko's weight that gets cut off.

Now, Marcel threw for more yards. He threw for a higher completion percentage.

Marcel 2 INT

Arch 2 TD

I'll tell you what, that kid can actually ball. He may actually have a career in football. Not as a starter, but he can make it. He has the ability to contribute somewhere.

He looks the part like on the TD run and then you look at his stats and they’re abysmal.

He does seem like somebody who will get a NFL look and maybe be a goal-line back.

Let em sleep it off. Unlike normal humans acceptance comes prior to coping, denial and all the other stages of grief along with myths of refs and BOMC.

It's coming. We will all soon learn about how they were rooked out of a win, actually won the game, why losing this game is advantageous, and the amazing run they are about to make in the playoffs.

We have built it, lies will come.

Oh boy, one call in guy says that if the Taaffe pick would have been a touchdown nobody would remember this was Reed's worst game of the season.

This is so good.

No matter what I tell my aggy wife about aggy being in CFP and us not (probably), she doesn’t care. She’s still crying. Even promised me head back when they had the lead in the first half. Surely she’ll remember her promise later.

It's not about making the CFP, it's about making the CFP with a team that can win it all. Obviously I would love to make the CFP, but I know we don't match up well with most of the top teams. What's so hard to understand about that? Did you miss what Georgia did to us? Mike fucking Bobo has out-coached Sark on offense 3 times in two years. Do you think that's going to change because...playoffs? Do you want that to happen again but by someone else who doesn't stagnate in the first half?

Beating aggy is fucking awesome. But damn, dude. You're missing the forest for the trees. You're wanting a plaque and a lottery ticket that you're fantasizing about that we can compete with anyone. No we can't. That's being unbiased. This isn't TexAgs, bro. We can be real here and not live in some distorted reality. If this were.a 4 team playoff and we had an outside shot, fuck yes. But this is 12 teams with at least half of them having the same amount of talent, but better offenses. We are inconsistent at best, and I'm being generous.

It's paradoxical-

Make the CFP for the sake of saying we made it and not having areal chance to win it all, while ignoring losing to Florida, and going to OT against shitty Kentucky and Miss St

Don't make the CFP, still make a good bowl game, get to 10 wins and get Arch ready for next year when he really breaks out.

It's the Paradox of Futile Desire

1. Desire — There is genuine want (making the CFP)

2. Futility — the object of desire is known to be unattainable (making the CFP but knowing we have no chance at winning it all)

3. Paradox — the knowledge of its impossibility both suppresses the desire and fuels it

The people who negged this clearly did not got or UT or attend any Philosophy classes. My brain agrees with your logic and my heart wants us to fuck shit up.

Let me ask you guys something —

Would you really want to make the CFP with this team? You think this team can win it all? Ask yourself that. You want a meanungless consolation prize that means nothing? It doesn't help us with recruits, they have seen what they want/need to see, and we for sure aren't beating Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia, Ole Miss, and maybe Oregon. I don't know about Bama because, well, no one does. They lost to ou and FSU, so who knows? Deboer has Sark's number, just like Kirby. We can probably beat BYU, Tech, and Miami, but we would be going on the road to some freezing ass Midwestern state, and we ain't built for that yet. Hanging a plaque in the hall of honor saying "We made the CFP 3 years in a row!!!! " means nothing. We don't want to make the playoffs, we want to make the playoffs and realistically know we can win itt all. This team can't. Next year Arch? Sign me tf up!

Who cares? We build from this year and be fucking ecstatic that we won 9 games, but we looked like an asshole enema for the first half of the season, lost to a hapless Florida team who finally fired their inept and obtuse HC, and then had to go to OT against the dregs Kentucky and Miss St, got fucking rag dolled against Georgia. It changes nothing. Luck isn't helping us make the semis. We don't have the talent this year. Our OL punked aggy because they were always fool's gold. I fucking love winning 9 games with 3 of them against our biggest rivals, but you have to look at the bad, too. Our OL is not good. They're bad. Not Stroh bad, but they're weaklings, as Georgia showed us. We are not a complete team and we play down to competition. For fucks sake, we had to go into OT against ASU when we were up by 3 scores last seaaon IN OUR HOME STATE. But you think this team is making a difference? Nah, fam.

Let's build from this season and fucking roll fOSU at home to start the season and LFG. Next year's Arch will be on a new level.

I really think you are an ankle biting cunt who smells like bitch. GDIAF

HAHAHA did anyone else see the portion of Elko's press conference where he threw a titty tantrum over the door being open and how it was not "A PROFESSIONAL PRESS CONFERENCE??!!!" Just amazing.

But sure thing, aggy, you (and Elko) didn't really want to win. You just wanted to avoid the SEC title game. Riiiiight....

PS Keep your dumbass little dog out of our fucking stadium until you make accommodations for Bevo. Periodt

Oh, they brought that up on the broadcast. That and the fact they said Bevo couldn't come so we told them their dog wasn't welcome in Austin. I'm sure they'll cry about that too. Probably why they lost.

You guys are letting emotions override rationale. That's totally understandable after beating aggy like a mule in Mexico, and I understand being down-voted because as you see it "I'm not a real fan" simply because I've laid out the why. I graduated and have a masters, but somehow I'm not a fan?

I know Surly is knee-jerk, and that's fine. That doesn't make me any less of a fan. It means we see it differently. I'm not here trying to change minds like some guru, I'm just being real.

Just got back from the game. Fucking awesome. Our fans sold too many tickets to aggy and it was pissing me off up until the moment I got to watch them drag their dirt farmer asses out of there.

My section was like being at Kyle field. Screw you fair weather fans. Don’t renew your season tickets. It was like sitting in a sea of idiots. Thankfully Texas stabbed aggie in the heart multiple times.

Lots of Aggie faithful around us but I'll hand it to them, they were all decent. They left early, as expected.

We also were in the section right next to their band. There was 0 throwing of anything at them despite their consistent, deliberate attempts at overplaying the stadium hype music.

Caller now saying if Aggy had our schedule they would have lost three games, this is a Horn, I think.

He has riled up the call-in guys saying they wouldn't make the playoffs.

Had a crew of aggroids behind me. Their whooping is the most obnoxious ear piercing squeal of stupidity.

The 2 INTs in a row cause me to dance. So I got my revenge making them watch me shake my fat ass in their faces.

They are a university and football program that deserve no respect, so they constantly look to manufacture disrespect from indifference.
