Totally agree. The Ags not going for it on 4th was the loudest moment of the night and it was THE MOMENT I knew we would win, They bitched out going for it and they looked shook.

There were moments during the game where I was like, "Dammit, I'm too old for this shit, I can let everyone else do the yelling this time." And as the game wore on, I had to do that more. I ain't young any more.

BUT NOT ON THAT PLAY! I was screaming like there was no tomorrow on that one.

aggy post game call in said Elko announced in press conference he intended to go for that, but the players didn't snap it and put ball in play.

Your point remains though, the crowd disrupted it either way.

by the way at one point in the game, when we were still behind 10-6, I yelled at the field (just fed up with our offense) "Call the touchdown play!"

The very next play, wouldn't you know it, was the touchdown play.

Probably a coincidence.

I missed wathcing this live save for a few clips I saw tonight due to sitting in a steady rain at a high school playoff game tonight.   But I posted Poor Aggies  with a BEVO pic on my FB once the game was about to go final and every response I got from my aggy friends was at least we are going to the CFP and not a second rate bowl game.   Rolling my eyes at the lack of self awareness with their almost unified response to my post.

It’s what they were saying filing down the stairs before the game was over also. I just laughed and told ‘em maybe they’ll get us next year.

Nonsense. Sark and the team heard me and decided that they would stop fucking around and score right then and there. THAT'S HOW IT HAPPENED, and that's what I'm telling these nice gentlemen in the white lab coats as they help me into this... i believe they called it a Straight Jacket. VERY fashionable I'm sure

3-6-9 … friend in line…

3-6-9 the goose drank wine,

A monkey jumped on the street car line,

The line broke, the monkey got choked,

And they all went to heaven on a little rowboat, boom boom....

Heard in my childhood in South Texas...

To anyone that was at the game how loud was it because from the tv broadcast it seemed like DKR was rocking and loud.

Props to the crowd btw. That place was rocking all night. That was the loudest crowd I have ever seen at DKR. Sark even said in the postgame that he has never coached in an environment that electric before and that he felt they were playing every snap with the team and it made a difference.

I live north of the stadium and we could hear the big plays and occasionally the announcer/music (although not very clear).  Not the first time, but it did seem louder (but then again it depends on the cloud cover).

Some wins are just, well, better than others. I couldn’t sleep, still buzzing from the win, so I poured myself a nice Glenmorangie 18yr to aid with my enjoyment of this thread. Little brother will always be little brother.

I will say, that watching this game at home, I yelled more and louder, for each and every play, than I have ever done before. Aggies being ranked #3 had something to do with that.

Here's a CBS Sports recap...

It was loud but we need to have a serious conversation about why we can’t get a Texas fight chant going anymore. But like, after we gloat.

The Aggies were extremely overrated and had no business being the #3 team in the country. They need a missed extra point and a blatant hold/tackle on their game-winning play to beat a decent ND team. They played literally no SEC team with a winning record until the last game of the season and got exposed. I felt good about this game going into it.

felt like Arch was tight to start the game, Luke he was at the start of the season but sacked up and played like a motherfucking boss in the second half.

we played 5 top 10 teams and beat 3 of them. I don’t know if anyone else has that on their resume. The Florida loss is ugly but but are wins are more impressive than most of the playoff field. If the CFP wants college football to remain entertaining then they absolutely should not punish us for the OSU loss and treat us as a 2 loss team. Otherwise we should just eliminate all our future OOC games against P5 opponents and just play Sanford or Austin Peay.

I thought Tennessee was going to outclass the Buckeyes in round 1 last season after they'd lost to the Wolverines. That clearly did not happen. I thought Oregon had their number and would win the re-match. That clearly did not happen, either.

Great teams peak at the right time, and we might be one of those great teams. Or we might not be. That's the beautiful thing about a true playoff. In the BCS and four teams eras, Ohio State never would have had a shot to win four in a row for a natty.

None of the 2-loss teams have the resume Texas has. Notre Dame lost to aggy, and their loss to Miami looks worse and worse as Carson Beck Carson Beck'ed.

We have the head to head over Oklahoma and Vanderbilt.

I guess this is the shitty part of not controlling our own destiny anymore. This totally kills the argument we'd hear about how a playoff would make the regular season meaningless. Nobody should have believed it back in the BCS days, but this season is all the proof you need that every game still matters.

Remember Sark’s second season and we were all rooting for Rock Chalk? Well we have a lot on the plate today. We need Miami to fall…go Pitt. A bunch more shit. I don’t know if it gets us higher than 12 spot in the rankings??? So glad Aggy was ranked #3. Yeah overrated but we fucking needed that ranking.

Even if we don’t make it, it’s a hell of an ending to a mostly unwatchable season. But we had OU, Vandy, the 4th Q of Miss State and Arky and Aggy. 💪🏼 finish. I agree with others that the playoffs must be expanded (not just because of UT) but because it’s the right thing to do. Fuck conference championships. The runner up often gets rewarded with a bowl game not a playoff spot. The GaTechs get a chance and we get a chance. Hope enough happens today to wash the stink off our Florida loss.

Long day. So you religious folk or warlocks or whatever need to focus on rooting for a bunch of teams that can elevate Texas by beating the teams in our way.

I went to the Kirby Ice House in the heights to watch the game. Most fun I’ve ever had watching a game not in a stadium. So many aggies. My buddies and I had two tables in front of the big screen in front of all of them. Celebration was elite. Some aggy tried to come start shit at the end. He shoved my buddy and ran away.

What a bitch. That's the living definition of little brother.

Man, from your lips to God's ears. He looks lost out there for most of the time. He really needs to let his ego go and just admit he can't do it all. He's not Lane Kiffin, he's recruiting at a different level than Ole Miss and we should be beating their asses. We get that chance next season.

People keep throwing out Chip Kelly, but they don't understand the Kelly and Sark have different philosophies on offense. Kelly was allegedly calling the wrong plays this season for LV, or not even having the right game plan installed. There are more capable out there.

We get Kiffin next year. We have ole miss , Florida  and lsu. So we get him regardless of where he is

I was so hyped up after the game that I couldn’t fall asleep afterwards. I had to be at work at 5 am. At least the highlights and aggy tears in the office make it worth it.

In retrospect it's crazy to think how easy this victory was last night despite the multiple attempts by the refs to rig this game for gamblers. How can the committee watch this game and think aggy deserves to be in the playoffs?

The committee is going to have to decide if record is better than schedule or vice versa. If Texas doesn’t schedule number 1 Ohio State and slips in a Samford - we are in. A&M beat one top ten team and played cupcakes until us. They barely beat SC. In no way should they make any playoffs over us - especially when we beat them.
