Sark is a dogshit coach against any good team

Heard a stat today I had not heard before.

In 8 games against P4 competition this season, there are 4 of those games where Sark’s offense only scored on TD in each game.

The issue is A&M is playing tight coverage and playing the shallow routes when they are in zone. On top of that, they are getting pressure with 4.

Horrible combo. You can't run a pass first offense under those conditions. We can't really run block these guys either.

This is similar to what happened to KC against Philly in the SB last year.

You just look at that 10-3 lead and you wonder how our Sark offense is going to be able to score more than 7 points in the second half. Maybe he'll dial up some more slow-developing 25 yard passes, where Arch gets killed or our WRs get assaulted with no call.

Arch internal clock has to go off in those situations and just take off and run or throw it away. But in my opinion we needed to make that FG attempt <50 so I get it to an extent.

Arch is also a part of the problem regarding how Sark is calling this game. Yes we need more slants and crossers but Arch can’t really throw those. A&M is taking away the throws he can make forcing him to hold the ball longer than he has been recently. We should run the ball more with Wisner, but outside of that I’m not sure what the answer is here.

Yes, they are.

Reed is better than Mateer.

If I’m Klein I just keep feeding Concepcion until PK figures a way to stop it.

But coaches don’t tend to keep doing what works so Klein won’t do that.

Although Bobo kept feeding #3 today against Georgia Tech.

They are also just gang raping our WR when they do get open deep without consequence

I’m not judging I just don’t understand what it is we are trying to do? We don’t really have an offensive philosophy. We sort of just try shit.

Yes.  Only you.

We've played pretty bad and are down 7.  Officiating was kind of "suspect."

BUT, their QB is dinged up and we get one of our best defensive players back in the 2nd half.

They get the ball first but how is everyone going to feel if we tie the game at 10:00 in the 3rd?

You are correct but none of these guys are going to listen to you.

The biggest problems in the first half:

1.  O-line

2.  Sark's play calling, esp. on first down.

3.  Tackling in the 2nd quarter.

Arch has been way too up-and-down, but he's not getting much help.

It's Akina and Orphey. They're shit. Orphey is an unknown, but Akina needs to fucking go. This ain't 2008

Wife sitting here with me and watching halftime highlights - she’s not a student of the game by any means - she says, Texas needs to go get one of those receivers the kind that catch the ball.
