The Wire.

Couldn't finish Breaking Bad.

Yellowstone.

Lord of the Rings

Schindler's List

Took my college sweetheart on our first date to see Schindler's List.  I thought it was a regular WWII movie.  It's in my Top 5; however, I've only seen it that one time.  As a teacher, I can't do "kids in pain or dying" scenes.

The Godfather movies. Keep waiting for the right time to watch them. It's been a long wait.

Band of Brothers. Never been a big fan of WW1/WW2 stuff so just never bothered to watch it when it aired.

You really have to watch The Big Lebowski several hundred times to appreciate it.

Karate Kid? Haven’t seen a single Avatar. The one that has been on my list for forever but I just haven’t sat down with is True Romance. Oh, and Django Unchained.

I feel like I am the only one that never saw the Big Lobowski.

I've fallen asleep on it about 10 times.

The Wire.  I tried the first couple of episodes twice.  Couldn't get into it.

Dang... It's good once it gets going.

But I understand. I watched about 2 seasons of Breaking Bad and just couldn't go any further...

"But did you see the uncle ring the bell?!?"

Sure.

It starts out looking like a regular ol cop drama, above average if you like Homicide Life on the Streets.  It's probably not until halfway through season 2 that the beauty and epicness of it really starts to kick in.

I had the same reaction to first few episodes of season 2 and I stopped watching.  I waited twenty years to watch it again.  It's fucking great.  Season 5 gets a little squirrelly but its still good.

The Big Lebowski is great the first time and then you watch it a bunch to catch things you missed, but also get bored at times when certain parts drag on.

True Romance is overrated but worth a watch for the references it put into pop culture.

Django Unchained is an all timer for combing that uncomfortable subject matter with extreme violence. I’d watch it and the gift Lebowski multiple times before True Romance.

The wire season 1 is about the streets of Baltimore, if you’re not intrigued by that premise you’ll never get into it to start. It’s a follow up to The Corners miniseries that aired on network tv by David Simon a few years prior. It’s got the cops and other parts, but season 1 is the streets.

Season 2 departs heavily from that and lost a lot of viewers expecting more of season 1, but it makes sense by the end of season 2 and ties it back in. Seasons 3,4,5 explore other parts of the system tying it all together with those early storylines. You have to watch it all to truly appreciate the full storyline. Also you have to acknowledge you might not relate to many of the characters motives and struggles.

Season 2 and Ziggy were tough to deal with initially. If you can eat shit for 3 episodes you will be rewarded.
