I think tech ends up like the softball team.

makes the championship game but money alone can’t get you a championship.

If we make the championship game we probably win it considering we'd probably have to go through Ohio State to get there

Keep pulling that card out. The more you use it, the less impact it has.

I don’t know what your issue with me is. Other than me not liking sark and who the fuck cares whether I like him or not. He’s a paid employee of my university. He needs to do his job or GTFO.

lol y’all aren’t beating Georgia if that happens

BYU did not belong in the top 20 going into this game, much less 11th. Get out scored 63-14 by Tech should be enough to realize just how down the Big XII was this season. Tech was head and shoulders above the rest of the league, especially after Leavitt shut it down for the year.

Happy for my Red Raider Family and friends.

It will forever be my belief that it’s largely Sark’s fault that we ain’t in the CFP. outside of the fact the committee is ridiculously atrocious.

I think his approach to the offseason impacted our wins and losses in the regular season.

I see that as the Truth

truth ain’t bad or good or bitter. He neglected the portal. It showed on the field. He went to stupid off season NFL style practices. They were ineffective. 75% of our games  were unwatchable. We played down to worse teams. It is my belief that We aren’t in the playoffs because Sark neglected to plug the holes he knew were on our offensive line and CHOSE NOT to have regular practices to so he could better evaluate our OLine and other positions. Or run 140 scripted plays in practice for our QBs.

but you think I’m bitter. I’m pissed that a head coach who has been one for 12 total years pissed away $30 million on this team this year.

Jerry McGuire focused on his team. The portal. The money he was given. The development. Regular practices and so on. Sark didn’t. It is that simple to me.

it’s not bitterness it’s acceptance. I don’t believe Sark is HIM.  I hope you and all the other sexist assholes on this site are right. I hope that Sark can be both HC and OC and stay on top of things the best coaches stay on top of. I hope we can win it all next year. I want to win it all.

Hate on me all you want. We aren’t in the playoffs bc of Sark.

Best and most accurate summation of the season. Only thing I would add is that the horrible Florida game somehow came off a bye week. Sark had a golden opportunity this season and let it slip away. Maybe next year will be better.

Tough call. Florida would’ve probably beat BYU today

Maybe so, I am so glad after that blow out win by Tech that showed how the Big 12 was a one team conference the SEC stepped up and gave us a championship game that truly shows the depth of top tier teams.

Oh, wait,  damn shame despite how much ESPN wants to sell us on how plucky and clutch Stockton is as a quarterback he can't consistently make throws down the field or the Bama UGA game would be much uglier than the one side rock fight is in right now.

There are 7 SEC teams that would have gone undefeated in the Big 12 this year.

Keep telling yourself that and how Texas is better where they are while Tech gets a bye and TCU and Texas are playing in bowl games.

Is it soooo funny how Texas fans have embraced the very thing they laughed about just a few years ago, it is almost .....Aggie like.

Tech and TCU could combine rosters and Texas would still be favored by a touchdown on the road. This isn't the pros. Parity is only in your imagination.

Where did I mention parity?

You implied the disparity in team quality hasn't seismically shifted in the past few years. Vandy finished 7th and is the best Oklahoma State team that Gundy never had. They would have cleaned up in the Big 12 this year.

You really need to either slow down typing or slow down drinking because this sentence makes no sense whatsoever "Vandy finished 7th and is the best Oklahoma State team that Gundy never had".

I won't even touch on the lack of historical perspective it shows and I truly hope you are 16 and been into your Father's beer fridge.

It's not aggy to point out that the Big12 and the SEC are on completely different levels.

Real strong 2022 TCU vibes in this thread

That 2022 TCU team was incredibly lucky to get where they were, they skated by like 7 Big 12 games by the skin of their teeth and lost the conference championship game. They still beat an undefeated B1G champion to get to the title game, they just completely shit their pants against one of the best teams college football has seen this millennia.

The college football landscape is very different in 2025 than it was even in 2022 but you can keep coping I guess all you like.

The old b12 featured two blue bloods. The new one is full of mid-major programs. They can still produce good teams though.

Well yeah if they played 4 games by the SEC formula...
