Just got back in after spending 5+ hours away from this thread and just let me say that those who say Cubans don't know sports are just wrong.

College football has come a long way.
Remember way way back when a FedEx package would show up at a kids house. Or a Sports Car would be leased to a player’s mother with no payments ever made, or a summer job was given to a player and no one had ever even heard of the person. Damn those were the good old days. Guess we can never go back. It’s all gone

We won 1 fucking title after 1970 in that system.

That does not make someone a cheater, that makes someone me. Now fucking your office coffee maker, that makes you a cheater.

I mean remove the death and suicide threats, Moore seems pretty much like average Surly poster. Rich, fucks 10 and 5s, watches a lot of "film" and like "podcasters".

Seem like an otherwise solid dude. Maybe me him, Lane and Coach O can hit Padre for Spring Break.

The only way this is true is if he raped her.

You are frighteningly dense (I got to use this twice this week). The power imbalance between the head of the entire program and a low level staffer is extreme. There's a reason relationships with subordinates are forbidden by any organization worth a shit.

Not shocking at all. Well deserved it appears too. You reap what you sow. Good. Clean sweep. Unless they decide to promote the GM like I posted earlier

The inability of people to understand that you can't have a consensual relationship with that large of a power imbalance is always amazing to me

Hire a coach immediately. Try to save Bryce and hiter.

then let the coach pick the AD.

who cars

Chances are they were already working on the new HC. Players can still be salvaged imo depending on who they hire as the HC. Not lost yet and actually didn’t feel like Michigan would go far with Moore anyway. Plus you cut out some rot on the administration too. All in all it’s better to start over fresh with whole new staff etc…

The only play is to literally godfather offer someone that is a huge name and try and get some sort of positive spin to stop this slide.

Well now you have to wait until the AD is hired unless you can pry a DeBoer, Campbell, or one of those top tier guys away. This could drag on for a month, which would make their end state possibly worse than Penn State who didn't even sign a class this cycle.

To be fair, we are discussing Michigan football here. It arguably is NOT worth one single shit.

It’s deboer or bust at this point.

They won't announce before they are eliminated. Deboer will play through as he did before.

There are definitely situations in which a subordinate pursues a superior out of genuine attraction or affection, but the superior has to be smart enough to say no, for a number of reasons. I suspect the majority is the other way around and while there can be genuine affection and consent in those situations too nobody can ever be sure it wasn't a Dennis Reynolds "because of the implication" type situation. Just don't do it, there's plenty of other good looking blondes who would be more than willing to be sidepiece to a young, good looking, wealthy, powerful guy like Moore.

If he doesn't come to Texas, I hope he doesn't go to any other SEC teams.

At the risk of derailing the thread with football talk, the one game of his that I watched (OU) he didn’t seem very good.  So I would have the opposite sentiment.  But then people say that about Arch and I think he’s really good so WTF do I know.

Their AD isn't going to survive this.

This lasted all of an hour and the AD lasted 24 hours from the news breaking. Theres clearly a lot more that will come out. Looks like they're gonna have to burn the whole thing down and build on top of it. I'm starting to question if this bowl game is even going to take place.

If he makes any other SEC team better, even if that's from "not playing great", then that's worse for us.

He supposedly was a 5-star and #1 overall 2025 prospect.

from what I understand he was arrested in Washtenaw county so there's a chance he is arraigned in front of Judge Simpson and streamed on YouTube.

Then it's gonna be a looooooong month or so in Ann Arbor and Tuscaloosa (and Baton Rouge).

Given all that seems to be going down I’m sure they will fire their AD,  it as of right now their isn’t a credible source that is reporting that it’s happened.

If a presidential candidate runs on a single issue platform that you need to pass a media literacy course to have a smart phone I swear he’d have my vote.
