Patriot front bozos showed up in Boston this weekend. Sad that their beliefs are becoming more normalized. And there must be hundreds of followers for every one that makes a trip.

Ultimately they are snowflakes who have convinced themselves that they are victims, and they are relying on the cops to protect them.  They are internet incels and trolls who want everybody to support them.

I’d be more worried if they armed themselves and were assaulting state capitols and killing lots of politicians, cops, liberals, etc.  Maybe the January 6th stuff put a damper on things and federal prison was a turnoff for them.

They’ve had a few years of Trump working them over and 18 months of him telling them that the election was stolen and the best they can do is dress alike, march where the cops are protecting them, and ride around in the back of UHAUL trucks together.  NTTIAWWT

yeah they do. Just need to meet the right ones. I have talked to suicide bombers. They are on a single mission.

And I agree. 1 and the same. Sick fuckers who don't care about the damage they create.

That's a whole lot of limited vocabulary on display right there.  Reflects the limited intellects behind it.

The next time I hear an articulate sentence uttered by a member of Trump’s base will be the first. Bunch of mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging jagoffs.

They are thinking about 72 virgins they get to own on the other side or whatever when they bate. I think that’s possibly worse. But other than the fixation of their mind at that moment, yes one and the same.

No you just jerk off to ammo porn in an active shooter thread.  The same thread where you've gotten owned again and again and again.  Which is what I was mostly referring to: your ability to confirm yourself as a mouth-breathing, knuckle-dragging jagoff repeatedly w/out end.

When I see someone equivocating and defending the right to buy AR's with no barriers to go on mass murder sprees.... It sure doesn't seem like you're condemning the shooting - you just are uncomfortable that it happened.

For most honest people acting in good faith, condemning something usually coincides with a genuine desire for the act being condemned to stop occurring. Not finding every reason to argue against any sort of legal or regulatory mechanism to mitigate future massacres.

You're either too dense and uncritical to recognize your own contradiction, or you're a fucking lying troll that cares more about your weekend pewpews than your fellow Americans getting massacred in the streets at parades on independence day, or in their elementary school classrooms as the cops wait outside and arrest their parents.

Owned?  Yes. I’m the one who doesn’t even understand what they want to ban past a 90 second wiki search.

Good faith, eh. Pretty, pretty sure I mentioned being ok with raised age limits, licensing, insurance, etc in that same thread several times. I’m pretty sure because I typed it.  Who’s acting in good faith?

Great, that's what you say you want. Who are you voting for that's going to make that happen? What are you doing to realize that goal?

Or am I right, and these are just empty words from you?

You understand one issue does not make a party right?  So we get better gun laws but then I have to pay for every broke dicks college loan? No.

How many dead kids are worth you not paying "for every broke dicks college loan"?

I had student loans, and paid them off.  I don't give a rat's ass if someone else's loan gets forgiven.  You sound poor.

Yep, that’s it.

Maybe some horse trading?  Split the Dakota’s again and we can raise age limit to 25 for any firearms?

A lot of them boys sound southern. Those also sound like terroristic threats. Maybe we should portion more of our anti-terrorist budget to hunting these dogs down and charging them with felonies.

The threats to the person are bad enough. Extending that threat to their families is just wicked. These threats becoming normal will be like mass shootings becoming an increasingly normal leading to increasingly belief among sick, weak white men that their rage should be expressed by sprays of bullets (both the good kind and the bad kind of bullets!).

How long before somebody takes their AR to government officials house and makes an example of him/her?

Hunt these fuckers down and put them in jail. Pry some of the NSA's technology away from them for use by domestic law enforcement to jail terrorists.

Oh fuck off with this. The entire board was giddy af that Biden would get to redo the census and Gerrymander it in their favor. Receipts all over the place. You don’t care about gerrymandering, or your teammates don’t anyhow. They care that’s is negatively affecting them at the moment, and that’s it.

For the millionth time, dude: no one gives a flying fuck anymore that your personal views differ slightly from the party that you unapologetically and unilaterally support. It's meaningless. You've made your choice about what's more important to you, so you don't get to say, "Oh, but I actually personally support gun control" every time we have shot up or orphaned kids. Fuck off with that. Who cares? You don't. At least not enough, so why waste everyone's time?

Even your vow to abstain from voting until Republicans get their horrid social policies in order (good fucking luck waiting that out) is completely hollow. You're only saying that because you live in Texas, and you already know the outcome. If election day approaches, and Beto is miraculously polling ahead or extremely close, you'll get your ass to the voting center to pull the lever for Abbott like the good little soldier that you are.

That’s all good and fine, but flies in the face of his claim, which is the point of my post. You fling shit my way, I’m going to respond and call your bullshit.

WTF are are you even talking about -- Biden was going to "redo the census and Gerrmander it in their favor?"  Can you cite me to a single post where people advocated for the census to do anything BUT count actual people who actually live in the actual places they live?  "Accuracy" is not gerrymandering.

You are fine with authoritarian rule over the will of the people.  It's the only conclusion that can be reached.  A political party has openly promised to override the votes of the people, install The Party's Candidate (seriously, it's just fucking North Korea bullshit with them now), and install and use mechanisms that will insure that The Party will never lose power ever again.  You are perfectly fine with us becoming a tin-pot one-party dictatorship, so long as some dude in Cleveland doesn't have his student loan debt dropped $10k.  It's fucking insane what people will sacrifice our country for.  Judas looks at you fuckers and thinks "at least I got thirty pieces of silver -- that's real fucking money in my day."

If the receipts are all over the place, show me what you've got. I'd betcha a dollar you're lying, taking waaaaay out of context, or being intellectually dishonest. Because I'm frequently maligned as a "CR denizen" and I don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Are you sure you aren't remembering one of brother sack's pamphlets?

Somehow, you managed to skip right over these points:

Insane gun policy that’s at odds with the vast majority of the people.
Insanely draconian anti abortion laws that are the same.
Uniform support for a dangerous, insurrectionist lie that the election was stolen.
Uniform plans to make voting HARDER, for the purpose of intentionally disenfranchising Americans who are more likely to vote against them.
Encouragement and open support of white supremacist and violent paramilitary groups.
Concerted demonization of all gay people as “pedophiles and groomers” and inciting violence against them.

I guess that means you're OK with them.

If you don’t actively OPPOSE that, you are betraying your country. Because you don’t like the idea of somebody getting their student loans forgiven. All-out assault on the Republic, looking to end it, and openly inciting violence against any number of “other” is bad….but not so bad that you’ll accept an opposition to that if they want to forgive student debt.

I’m glad you weren’t in charge in WWII. “Sure, Pear Harbor was bad, and the Nazis are really bad, but I can’t support FDR in the war effort because FDR gave farmers welfare.”

Don't forget they're also the anti-science, anti-public health, and generally anti-intellectual party. But thank god they don't want to help poor people. That's the most important thing.

That should’ve happened the moment Anthony Fauci, and his wife and children, had to receive 24 hr protection due to credible death threats from Trump supporters. He’s a guy who has served the country faithfully for decades and nobody ever said anything negative about him. Nobody in the general public had any opinion about him at all. Until he spoke truth in contradiction of Trump’s bullshit over the Coronavirus. Trump was producing a reality show and Fauci was trying to communicate actual reality so he must now be fired, or jailed, or die.

No, but I can help you understand.

Our gun policy is not insane. It could be tweaked, but it’s far from insane, or even an issue.  What’s insane is limiting the rights of hundreds of millions over events caused by a handful of psychopaths.

Abortion is an issue with the courts.  Ds had how long to codify?  Why should they be rewarded for their lack of willingness to do anything over the last several decades? Now I should give you extreme power so you can finally go to work?

Jan 6th show has made prime time TV (political gamesmanship at its best) and it’ll play out as it does and those who need to be punished will.

Voting is difficult? It takes 10 mins

Not sure if I told this story or not, but my uncle was a successful business man.  Started his career in law enforcement, figured out he hated it and started selling cars.  By the time he died he owned a few dealerships.  That last time I had a real conversation with him was when we were outside of the hospital where we were pretty sure his dad was getting ready to die after a years long battle with cancer, this was in the early 2000's.  The reason it was our last conversation is that he told me that he hoped he got a terminal illness like his dad, because then he'd have nothing to lose, and he had a list of judges he was going to go shoot.  It was all the activist judges, on the left, obviously.  That was a fun conversation.  I'm happy to report he died suddenly of a stroke a few years later, and never did get to fulfill his bloodlust by killing off judges, so we have that going for us.

But what I've always wondered is, if people who were comfortably wealthy and had everything going for them are having fantasies about going on shooting rampages against people who politically disagree with them, how bad would it get if the truly disaffected started to take action against people they perceive to have wronged them.  And I think we're really getting into what that looks like now.  At some point the disaffected are going to lose steam and go back to being disaffected, I suspect, we just have to figure out how to live through it.
