From the article:

Give. Them. ATACMS.

gotta be honest, having the 120km distance is pretty much almost all they need to have to hit any russian command and control anywhere in Ukraine other than the southern portion of Crimea and Sevastopol

and it also allows them to start fucking up every single Russian base in range as well, which is a lot of them.

I mean, yeah, it kind of would be a shame, actually. At least if they sunk the grain. We're toeing the line of a famine in most 3rd world countries in the next few years with this way and Russia's bullshit. I get your intention, but man blowing up grain would be a pretty shitty side effect.

Now, if we know those ships are empty...

Yeah. As much as I hate seeing them profit off stolen grain, it’s still needed all around the world. Those shipments are technically saving lives, or at least delaying famine down the line.

It's the new Russian MLRS that has the 120 Km range...not the Turkish one.

You read that wrong. The Russians have 120km range. This Turkish system has a 70km range.

Fuck if I know. How bout this...the Turkish system has a little more than half the range of the Russian system, both of which have a longer range than HIMARS sans ATACMS.

Edit: Ironically, I got confused on KM and miles. HIMARS appear to have a slight range advantage over the Turkish system

The advantage of the Turkish system is the ability to hit moving targets via laser guidance vs pre-programmed GPS coordinates. However, since it is laser guided, I believe it is needs a spotter for the laser designation (Turkey appears to expect it to work in concert with the TB2). Next year the US is supposedly fielding the Precision Strike Missile to enable HIMARs and M270 to engage moving targets. Only thing I've seen is that it will have a "multi-mode seeker." I presume this means the ability to identify a target without requiring an active laser spotter, but I don't know for sure.

as dogshit as the russian ATC are, that crash was well over 90% a direct result of the insistence of the Polish pilots to keep forcing a landing in shitty weather at an airport that they had never been to before that was more of a miltary base than a civilian airport, which lacked a lot of the extra lighting a normal airport would have.

poland literally put all their proverbial eggs in the same basket (plane), with their entire senior military leadership, their President along with most of his entire cabinet all being on the same plane.    they effectively decapitated their entire generation of leadership in 1 crash.

This is correct except it wasn’t the pilots insisting to land in Smolensk. It was President Kaczynski demanding, via the Commander in Chief of the Polish Air Force, that they land.

Orban is holding this money hostage because the EU recently decided to freeze about 13 billion euros in cohesion and recovery funding after Orban failed meet some rule of law milestones. So he’s blackmailing the EU with Ukrainian blood.

A true piece of dick, and especially dickish because Hungary is absolutely a beggar state with its hand out to Brussels.

Where are our experts with shitting themselves?  Need to see more of this in the public forum.

Quote

Vladimir Putin is reported to have slipped and tumbled down several stairs at his official residence. The Russian president, 70, was supposedly helped to a sofa by bodyguards as his personal doctors rushed to assist him.

The account is the latest from a Russian Telegram channel named General SVR which regularly suggests the warmonger is suffering from multiple health problems not disclosed by the Kremlin.

The alleged fall led to bruising of his coccyx but also highlighted problems from “cancer of the gastrointestinal tract”, it was claimed.

Despite this alleged incident, Putin was able to attend and speak at a young scientists conference in Moscow on Thursday.

According to the account, Putin was walking downstairs when he “stumbled and fell to his back, after which he fell on his side and slid down a couple of steps”.

“The incident took place in front of the president’s bodyguards, who reacted quickly and rushed to Putin’s aid.

“Three security officers helped the president to get to the nearest sofa and called the doctors who are on duty at the residence.”

The channel - which claims, without offering proof, to have sources in Putin’s entourage - said medics “arrived within a few minutes, but could not immediately examine the president”.

This was due to him suffering “oncology of the gastrointestinal tract, as a result of which he already experiences serious problems with digestion” - and the fall caused an “involuntary” reaction.

“Before the examination, the doctors escorted the president to the bathroom and helped to clean up.”

The report said: “After a complete examination, a bruise of the coccyx and soft tissues was diagnosed.”

Nothing critical was diagnosed and the bruising was treated with painkillers.

An investigation is to be carried out into what provoked the “fall”.

“He wears special shoes, even at home, with anti-slip coating, and the stairs in the residence are considered ‘safe’.

“As it turns out, all precautions are meaningless when nerves are at stake.”

Earlier this month the channel claimed that Putin’s health “against the backdrop of constant stress, is increasingly causing concern for doctors and [his] relatives”.

It stated that “due to cancer, Putin has serious digestive problems and has been on a strict diet for the past few months”.

He also suffers “bouts of coughing, dizziness, sleep disturbances, abdominal pain [and] constant nausea” as well as “the manifestation of symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder”.

It claimed: “Putin is on medication all the time, and preparing the president for a public display is becoming increasingly difficult.

“To this should be added the increased risks in terms of personal security [due to the failures of his war in Ukraine].

“The whole complex of problems led the president to make a decision after the New Year to switch to the ‘self-isolation’ mode and spend most of the time in one of [his official] residences equipped with a so-called ‘bunker’.”

The channel claimed that “the situation at the front is such that, given the current trends, Russian troops will be forced to leave all the occupied territories of Ukraine by the summer of next year” except Crimea.

Separate media investigations disclosed that Putin is surrounded by a team of doctors including a cancer specialist when he travels.
