how is Fu holding up since she lost Jaca?

She has been mostly fine but she definitely follows me around the house more. I don’t want to leave her for two weeks this summer when we go to Italy. Luckily, half of that time she will stay with my brother.

How many BBQ joints will you hit in Italy?  We expect hourly field tester updates and a power point presentation when you get back.

These two make me smile every night.  Whenever we get up from the living room to go to bed in the evening, they rush ahead of us to the bedroom to stake out their spots.

Penny (on the left) has gone over 7 months without a seizure after two years of having them 2-3 times a month.  Ody is just a chonky love bug.  Every day with these two is a blessing.

Today is officially Juno's 2nd birthday (she's a rescue, so not sure what her actual birthdate was).   The scouting report on Pyrs is that they're stubborn, difficult to train, and very independent. She really hasn't been any of those things and is probably the best dog we've ever had and my best friend.   And every single day I look at her and think, "I cannot believe someone gave you up."   346787191_761861935579426_8278532567613137480_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_p720x720&_nc_cat=103&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=DzqjBypdOf0AX_l0eWr&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=00_AfBtN0qs9RBnRLQ6Tr8CW4URPwP3e4c7XCfZxZn0Jcs39A&oe=6465A584\ 346780941_6872090046151788_7323131754117837301_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=MpOD3vQSXPcAX_yxKVk&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=00_AfB4MNVmcHCy2xVc-vBb6gQ3v7pveENLErwPo4h7MadpHQ&oe=6464E4B3 345910069_3059123851050334_114127033133760071_n.jpg?_nc_cat=104&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=vqBMInfnckYAX9ovjN0&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfD2CHGQPiadi3tJdvlSKfCXVTX_DTe4XiO1ceDFdhYq9Q&oe=646434E1 345906913_575637647755489_3634425597247486927_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=145sFbBOwOAAX-WhgYY&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfBLGrjonQh-hcpUW0n35tMKIWD_2nz9vOuRbKFXav9eoA&oe=6465669E 347079276_153123417563301_405681558951253196_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=k4L_HIIUAT4AX-0dnXx&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfCMTeb-AkXl5X4zVHNxlvAp8nz1xMk_G9OD7Bjwxc3kTw&oe=646419AF 347234003_1376806512869772_4328506600969128900_n.jpg?_nc_cat=103&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=oN4O0iVtrFwAX8Vu-MW&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=00_AfCTFnsZOCBwxtYz7sFV8koZui_kwbKbD8sy5rkr67aV5w&oe=6465050D 346855302_975292610307234_7835846688807373338_n.jpg?_nc_cat=106&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=3cNKwCjnozUAX9RfLTG&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfCRVRLvt8366rTHdoD6Aa_EiOiD6roAIVkma3Vf3RlkHg&oe=6465C5C4 345911557_588566810131068_4221153629777379816_n.jpg?_nc_cat=107&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=VxvMZ2tVXr0AX8ms1K6&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfA_LHFVClllNRc7_M1OuWDVyC1NYFTXqJrFg-Jxy4QI1w&oe=64654758 345909544_707005321196898_4621412441552585616_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=y6Sh4kcKjpMAX8nXAHf&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfA6VrZsePF5zxV-jcvEN3ubMItmNDcdbaA5cr3aNbvxfA&oe=6464B8EE 345896491_107184849047229_8034606782914016069_n.jpg?_nc_cat=111&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=0E_tCAmbRDAAX8ihKyb&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=00_AfB38IHuM5bH1O6PLFiApl_7FIgriBcUU5BbcFG9wgdQVg&oe=64643E06 346782644_638840107634277_6368037658224185650_n.jpg?_nc_cat=101&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=EnOXSpwgSvwAX8ggrVC&_nc_oc=AQnsK2zyDahetYi6Ei1_dIewGXspA83qcez2z4ndPpXT8O1UwlAj8v5-2T55SIeBbes&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=00_AfDkX8j3drN4pr6-JchSjlTeUSxFj0McGcXa0vYne4FLrA&oe=64655893   345899153_960706571721216_5504751256300929848_n.jpg?_nc_cat=108&ccb=1-7&_nc_sid=730e14&_nc_ohc=3hxAyIgknt8AX-leWZV&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-2.xx&oh=00_AfC7wLSOEZtY39CIIRTa-TvIXcMDBXAsrcjhiuXUj-YVYQ&oe=646547B0

Juno knows you saved her ass and will be a doubly loyal and loving dog. It’s why we do rescues of some sort. Though my wife remains adamant we won’t do another. That breaks my heart thinking we won’t have another but the last loss of two in 14 months just hammered her. I know anther couple dogs will find us but it has to come natural.

Friend had a baby (yes ill get some pics) and when he's on the floor rolling around Luna posts up right at his side while she scans the area like the terminator for potential threats.

When my niece was born I went to go see her about a week after they brought her home. My sister's GSD (who knew me well) wouldn't let me get within 6 feet of her crib. Didn't get aggressive or anything, just blocked my way and wouldn't let me get closer.

I had a friend who had to find his dog a new home because the dog wouldn’t let mom and dad near the crib.

My parents had to get rid of their GSD not long after I was born. He would let my mom pick ne up but wouldn't let my father near me. Wish I had the old pic of him sleeping under my crib.

Smart dog

Shit last time I visited my parents luna would always be between me and him. Dogs know. They always know.

Haha thats great! There are times when I wish Luna wasn't so damn serious.

She will play but the second somebody or something fucks around she doesn't hesitate to help them find out.

What is she? she doesn’t look like she would be serious!!

This one is just an idiot  Someone dumped some puppies a couple of miles down the road, so we took the yellow one with a spot on his head

He’s Alaskan malamute, Husky, and something else I can’t remember according to the dog version of 23 and me

Luna is a white GSD. Yea she gets goofy with me and her dog pals, but if a dog acts the fool she will put it on its back. She also gets really fucking scary when someone knocks on the front door.
