Basically yeah.. 20 when he won his first and 39 when he won last. However he place 2nd both years after winning the last one. Some years he was 1st in most majors.

He's a fucking freak.

In boxing Roy Jones Jr is a freak too. Not Mayweather but equally freakish.

Middle Wait championship beat Bernard Hopkins (who was a BAD mother fucker)

Super Middle beat James Tony, meh..

Light Heavyweight Tarver..

75 fights, 66 wins, 47 KOs and he did it largely with TKO on body blows.

And was robbed of a gold medal.

Not sure I buy Ali as the greatest boxer ever, much less one of the greatest 4 athletes ever.

Then again like I said anyone that doesn't have Gretzky on their list I'm really not interested in hearing from.

Jerry Rice (best wr ever)

Tom Brady (best qb ever)

Deion Sanders (best corner ever and arguably the most feared returner ever right up there with Hester)

Lawrence Taylor (best LB ever)

I feel like you have to be the best ever at your position to even sniff the Mount Rushmore. These are the only players off the top of my head that you would say are the best ever at their position with no argument from anyone.

troy, emmitt, michael, larry allen.

I’d take Larry Allen over any other OL.
The triplets were HoFers, no doubt. Not the best at the positions, IMHO.  They had aspects if their games/ leadership that were among the best ever, but not total package.

If it’s just Cowboys, I’m working Bob Lilly in there somehow.

Bump because IMO Randy Moss said some stupid shit.

What are Surly's thoughts?  (it is the off season after all)

Debate still happening on twitter.  I found an interesting take by Shannon Sharp.
