Happy Easter

Happy Easter you heathens.  First time in years we weren't able to go to church (baby is too new to put into the nursery), but we got our fill of celebration with our church's live stream (not the same).

Next up, brunch and Easter pictures.  Love me some Easter.

Finished church and we have the 3yo in tow for the trip out to the grandparents.

Kiddo is hyped up for her 4th Easter egg hunt and the resulting sugar high.

I’m just looking forward to decimating some deviled eggs.

Happy Easter!

T&P for anybody in the car with you on the way home after those eggs.

Happy Easter!

My teenage daughters and my wife (no pics) are currently turning the house upside down looking for the 4 remaining hidden eggs.  This afternoon, we head to the in-laws for dinner and egg hunting with the 3 year old niece.

I bet they find a snek before they find the eggs

Twenty years ago my son was the only kid in the family; (we now have none).

For Easter we would all get together early Easter morning to let him hunt eggs. For the grownups, the day before Easter we would take those little plastic two part eggs and make jello shots in them. We would hide them all together and let the munchkin hunt them. If he found a jello shot, he would turn it over to an adult. Everything else, (candy, money, little trinkets), would be his.

He loved it, we loved it and everybody had a great time.

tl;dr: Plastic Easter Eggs make great jello shot cups.

So was it an entire egg of jello? Didn't think those things would hold liquid.
