  1. Wow, there must be a very young crowd in here, No mention of the fact that Bill Yeoman;s only son Gary played for UT in the early 1970s. For the record, Gary Yeoman walked on at UT even after Coach Royal pulled his scholarship offer to him. I guess he really didn't want to play for dear old Dad. Naturally Bill Yeoman was't happy about it and took potshots at UT until he retired. Other than Jackie Sherrill, Bill Yeoman was a coach I would just love to absolutely run up the score on. His actions against Tulsa in 1968 and Rice in 1978 just spoke volumes on his character. It was absolute karma that both Tulsa and Rice beat him in his last year.
