I don't think so. He wanted to be apart of the program as HC. He's letting his players know he would have stayed but dipped since the new HC likely would have cleaned house. I thought it was fine, but he should have had his rep proof read if anything.

He is definitely going to be apart of the program.

Here’s something to get us going for the fall.

    That Rabideaux sausage is perfect.

Family reserve Tobasco is a game changer too.

The Family Reserve is awesome. I put it on all kinds of stuff and your post reminded me I’m out. Ordering more.

I’ve only been able to get in online or at the Tabasco store in Jackson Square. Where do you buy it?

My dad and brother started going to astros games for my brothers birthday in the 70s, and when i was born, i started going with them. First sporting event i ever went to was an astros game. Went to the last astrodome game with my brother and watched willy nelson play. When the astros were losing 300 games in 3 seasons, i worked in an office within walking distance of minute maid and would buy cheap astros tickets for $5. Saw so many blowout losses that year.

I sat through so many miserable memories as lifetime astros fan. Even the good moments were quaint. I cannot believe where altuve has taken these astros after decades of being middling. Hes made following the astros for my entire life feel worth it.

Yep. All of this is the same experience I’ve had. The $5 tickets, $1 dogs and $1 beer nights were pretty awesome though when they sucked and I was a poor, single guy working in Houston.

... because I fucking love it.

Walking down the strip on Saturday evening in Tuscaloosa, wearing burnt orange, any number of young, drunk jackasses dropped the "horns down" on me and my party. It felt so cliched, so unoriginal, and yet so freaking awesome. I guess Alabama has an elephant or some fucking mascot which makes no sense? I can't be arsed enough to give a shit to know or care why. But everybody knows the Texas goddamn Longhorns. So my response, invariably, was "bring it on."

Barstool had set up some outdoor event before the game on the main drag, and was we walked by I could hear Dave Portnoy talking up the Alabama crowd. This fanbase was so classy, and so mature, and had seen it all that they were going to be the outlier, he said. They were above giving the horns down. But guess what? They weren't. I'm not sure how it looked on television, but everytime the stadium scoreboards showed a video feed of the crowd, it showed delightfully dimwitted students and kids and their parents throwing the horns down. Every time.

Well guess what, motherfuckers. We love that shit.

You hate us? We love that you hate us. We expect it. You're going to hate us even more when we show up next year and take our place among the league elite. Aggies hate Texas more than they love our school. That's really what the Horns down means. "Ok, you may be better than us, but at least I know how to contort my hand like this."

As Sark said, embrace the hate. Because there's going to be more and more of it.

That troll was wearing a Horns Down hat at the game.IMG_1183.thumb.jpeg.809c107cf18dc1f47963a2b78e0456e9.jpeg

What’s the line like at 1701 at noon on a Friday? That is usually when my wife and I are driving through Beaumont to get to her in-laws. I’f I can say that would be a short stop, I’d finally get to go (bringing a 2 month and 2 year old in tow changes shit lol)

In my experiences, it feels like there is a rush at 11 with all the Exxon and other refinery support workers, then a lull around 1130-1145 and then a second wave with the lawyers and downtown people. The last few times I’ve been in there I’ve barely had to wait.

    Crystal Beach since 1981

Grandparents paid $27k for the first house. Ike knocked it down. We rebuilt. 100 minutes door to door.

Love it when it isn’t crowded. Like it when it is.

Place is heaven in the winter
