  1. I guess I’m the only guy who is optimistic about Valai. *shrugs* Young, hungry, experience in an NFL locker room, possible recruiting chops with Texas roots. Besides, if all else fails, throw a jersey on the guy because he would be the best looking linebacker we’ve got on day one.

I'd just like to see defensive players finish tackles. Hasn't happened much the last decade. Is it the kids we are recruiting? Coaching? Our culture? A giant s%$^ stew of all of this?

My biggest gripe with Brandon Jones. He always goes for a shoulder hit and I can’t remember ever seeing him try to wrap up. Unfortunately that should cost him a couple rounds.

  3. I thought I was the only one!

But yeah, I wished they'd won only because I know how it would piss everyone off and for her to cement her legacy, but the UK absolutely fielded a better a team and deserved to win, if this first hour is any indication. I still think Cara is one of the best ever, as is Ashley, but I can't complain about this loss. She didn't exactly do herself any favors with her comments after the proposal (the only thing I feel she's actually done wrong this season) so kudos to the guys (and girl) that did win. I can't wait for the reunion.

  4. They are definitely getting some kind of penalty for carrying bags next week. It'll probably be ten minutes like CT's, which negates those penalties anyway. And yeah, they're lugging around 40 extra pounds and rotating in girls -- severe disadvantage, but that's the game. They're definitely regretting it in hindsight, but if they hadn't done things the way they did, they wouldn't be there in the first place.

This was definitely not the sharpest game the producers made this season. From what I've seen on the Twatters, they've already made a bunch of changes in the upcoming season.

  5. They were tied together in the final where Easy died. I can't remember the details if they were DQ'd or penalized, but they did lose really badly in that final.

I'm guessing they haven't really left Paulie behind. I bet they've only taken like fifteen steps but the edit makes it seem like they left him. Good cliffhanger though, should be a pretty exciting finish.

  6. I've read the spoilers already.

I'm just trying to figure out how the hell Paulie completed this shit. Yikes.

Also, I'm sure Cara took at most 30 seconds longer than she should've at the eating portion (the math edit was ridiculous since she still finished before two of UK's) but yeah, any footage they can get of her not being her best, they'll use -- and you'll fucking love it.

  7. Don’t be a douche. Natalie chose the tribunal, so he didn’t have to be in the tribunal. Sorry you need everything spelled out for you; the other alternative is you just fucking with me because I cheer from someone different than you. Either way, it makes you a douche.

Anywayzzzz... apparently Bear and Kailah are fucking on the next season. That should be hot.

Lurking, despite his claim last week, appears to still be a Cara apologist.

Yes, I am. Because I don't think she did anything wrong last night. You, on the other hand, should probably reevaluate why you watch this show if she makes you this fucking miserable.

  9. So you'd rather her be pouty and eye-rolly at the actual engagement party? She was going to come across the same to you either way. She just decided to separate herself from it altogether, and that seems really fucking mature to me. If she had gone, you'd be all "why's her fake ass there? To start drama for the cameras?" No win, either way.

Besides, Jordan didn't seem all that torn up about it, so who fucking cares that she didn't go? Regardless, they seem cordial on all the Behind the Episodes they appear on, so maybe they've squashed it a little and maybe finally they have a fucking mutual respect for each other now as competitors. Tori nailed it on the head -- it's not Tori against Cara, or even Jordan against Paulie. They all respect each other as athletes. It's Jordan against Cara, because they don't. He bullies her, and she's an insecure bitch. They weren't meant to be friends.

And she didn't go to his fucking party. Boo-hoo.

  10. Holy shit, new villain of the season. That was fucking brutal, Rogan! I started out laughing that CT was all "yeah, I'll tell her," and then immediately left the scene, but Dee's fucking meltdown hurt my heart.

Cara was shit for the comments DURING the proposal (and even if I agree it was a little staged, no need to say it all the time), but I don't fault her at all for not going to the engagement party. People always say to separate reality from the game... isn't that what she was doing? She doesn't like Jordan. Jordan doesn't like her. Why would anyone go to an engagement party of someone you don't like? Why would you want someone you don't like at your engagement party?

Zach's toast at the party was really sweet. Who fuckin' knew he'd be one of the most likable people this season?

Nany vs. Kam for Leroy only made Leroy look like a fucking bitch. Nany just looks pathetic, and Kam is hilarious but her manipulation is transparent (isn't she the biggest bitch out of all of them? Seriously, at least Cara is straight up with you when she's fucking you over).

As usual, CT and Ashley are the confessional royalty this season. They both had lines that made me straight up LOL -- "Tori committing murder", and Ashley's "put these fuckbois in their place"... honorable mention goes to Ashley's "good job, idiot, now you're stuck with that asshole" about the engagement.

Tori's too extra, but holy shit that was an impressive elimination. Goddamn!

Joss, Kayleigh, Josh, and Ninja were just there, like usual.

welp, if anyone else still likes Cara, then there's something wrong with you. she's maybe the most sad, miserable person i've ever seen on The Challenge, and that says a lot. She is so wrapped up in hating people it's got to be exhausting. poor girl.

    I have an update.

I'm no longer on Team Cara this season. I still think she played an incredible game and everyone else are hypocrites for being pissed at her for that (if Bananas and Laurel won, it would have been the exact same game but in their favor)... but the ending, wow. I hope she loses, I hope she's humbled, I hope the season off rejuvenates her, and she comes back the following season reshaping her image. That was really painful to watch.

  12. But also, Josh was made the speaker just last week and his dumbass voted in Ninja and Leroy lol. I get making Leroy choose a side but why the hell did he pick Ninja and give them any chance to flip him to their side? He should have picked one of his numbers and forced Leroy’s hand. God he’s so stupid.

If Leroy sided with the non-Paulie/Cara alliance, wouldn't they have had the numbers then?

He would be third in the male pecking order behind Jordan and Zach if he joined them. On Cara’s alliance, he’s only behind Paulie. And Cara’s alliance with the numbers on UK ensures no one on their alliance gets voted in when UK picks either. Jordan’s alliance offered Leroy minimal protection (getting voted in after Josh) while Cara’s alliance literally allows him to walk into the finals. It was the right game move for him.

If Laurel has beaten Ninja, it would be the exact same game, but in reverse. The lack of immunity does seem to be the missing part of this season that would make the voting a little more fair, I agree.

  14. Every season since Bananas' arrival has been a numbers game, so no, I don't think there will ever be a season not being a number's game. You'd have to go back to the initial Battle of the Sexes, where they voted out the shittiest player with the lowest cumulative points out. And those seasons were boring as fuck.
