  1. Very few Horn players shorten their swing, hit middle to away or try to foul off pitches with two strikes. They would rather swing over the top, pulling their head off the ball or stand and look at strike three. Strike outs to them are the same as any other out

Someone up thread said LBJ had an off night. He didn’t pitch that bad just LSU hitters were fouling off two strike pitches that LBJ normally struck batters out on. LSU’s approach at the plate caused LBJ to throw 90 pitches+ in less than 4 innings. That’s the blueprint for beating tough pitching.

I very seldom ever go into the officials "rigged" the game mode.  In this instance, I believe there is enough questions that should be answered.  There are plenty of comments here a person could multi-quote to make a point.  I'll just leave these 2 questions.  How does their O-line not get a single call against the nation's best interior lineman?  Next, perhaps the officials were "encouraged" to help the PAC 12 along in their final season?  From here, it sure smells fishy.

Maybe, However I see it another way. Ask yourself these three questions:

What conference do the officials work in?

What conference will UW be in next year?

What conference will the eventual NC winner be in next year?

If you get the same answer for all three questions, there might possibly be a reason.

Right, I get that they have a couple of hard games on a 12-game schedule. Definitely Bama and usually somebody else (often lsu). But their complaining about a "weekly grind" is just nonsense.

When you finish the season 7-5 or 8-4. The season is a weekly grind

No, no, no, no. In your scenario you will end up with 8 one loss teams and the committee can do whatever they wish with no worry about optics. You'll end up with tOSU as #1 and Texas eating a shit sandwich still at #7.

You want Georgia and Washington to win to send Oregon and Bama to the 2 loss crowd and completely out of the picture. Asking Iowa to score over 17 is just too much to ask, so you can't rely on a Michigan loss. But three undefeated teams results in just 3 one loss teams in tOSU, FSU, and Texas and Texas the only one with a title.

Just need a Louisville win and all else chalk. It is the way.

Three of the one loss teams would be conference champions Texas, Oregon and Alabama. After that I don’t give a shit who makes the fourth team

  5. Why would anyone take the aggy job for less of a contract than Jimbo's?

Starting the year, aggy was already behind GA, Bama, Tenn, Ole Miss and LSU. As this season played out in reality they are also behind OU and Texas which joins the SEC next year. The new coach has to recruit and coach his ass off to attempt to gain ground on the seven teams ahead of them. Aggy has set the precedent of what they are willing to pay a coach with a guaranteed contract and no buy out. I ask again why would anyone take the aggy job for less of a contract than Jimbo's?

I really don’t understand why KSY went for it.  They have a very good red zone offense and we have arguable the worst red zone offense.  They had a huge advantage in OT.  We couldn’t even complete a pass in OT and we had been struggling on offense in general the entire 2nd half.  It was a stupid decision on his part and it obviously cost them the game.

Same reason coaches can’t methodically move the ball down the field and score any more, no patience. Win now, score now etc…

I understand if you make the first down or touchdown on fourth you can put the other team away sometimes but how slow of a learner is sark after 9 games and it’s not working take the fucking points and let your defense continue to dominate the game.

I'll take Bama's defense over aggy offense.

Milroe isn't great, but he's probably the second best QB on their schedule up to this point in the season.

I think he's better than KJ Jefferson just given Milroe's ability to scramble and make plays.

I love how aggy argued that Bama is weak this year, they'll lose 3 game..blah blah blah...and now all of a sudden it's a season defining game and must win to prove themselves at the national level. It's probably a close game, but I still think Bama gets the W.

Aggy ends the season 8-4 with loses to UM, Alabama, Tennessee and Ole Miss.

    don’t forget LSU
