Gotta disagree with you on Ewers he came back because of the consistency or lack thereof last season. Also, the qb draft class next year much weaker.

    Why not both?

Ive heard Bobby say back in November that the 25 college starts for QBs is a known marker of NFL success and the Ewers family would be factoring that into his NFL decision

We have a pond in the back. We have a pool and a pond... Pond'd be good for you.

I’ve heard Chevy talk about being proud of this ad lib. Apparently it was one of the few times someone cracked Bill Murray during a scene. In the movie you can see Bill choking down a laugh when Chevy hit him with this line

  3. I thought it was interesting last night that Elko said he thought being a DC  meant he was running 50% of the program but now as a head coach realizes a DC maybe runs 5% of the program. Word out of Duke has been that he was actively trying to relieve himself of DC duties so that he could focus more on running the program. Surely the head coach program running duties aren’t lesser at A&M. Was he having to massage the egos of the North Carolina high school coaches while at Duke, for example? How much of an ‘Elko’ defense will he be able to install when it seems like he’s still figuring out what it means to steer a program?

If the committee was going to go this route with FSU they should have excluded them from the top 4 the moment Travis got hurt. But to have them remain undefeated and win their conference and then decide to drop them out the top 4 makes no sense. Sets a terrible precedent IMO. What if Milroe, Penix, Ewers got hurt in practice leading up to the playoffs. Do either of those teams no longer belong?

Gave them a shot to demonstrate competency with a backup QB. They did not
