Orange jerseys with cursive Texas are incredible. We are going to win another CWS with those.
Ehlinger in the Alumni dugout?

There’s something weirdly similar about these guys, I can’t quite place what it is.

McCoy or Higgins would have been nice as LJH insurance at slot. Oh well.
Not watching the game. When does Bru pick a hat?

Almost 30 minutes old and no one has done a "went long in your moms snapper last night "post. Surly must be hung over.
Or our mom lost her snapper in a lawn mower accident and thus this is an offensive comment.

Amazing coach. 20 years ago, it was absurd to think that a NorPac (Pac-10 North) school would ever even make it to Omaha.
I phone interviewed him in 2007 (?) for a season preview I did for a website. I had him booked for 30 minutes, and then another coach for the next half hour. None of these interviews ever actually took 30 minutes because the coaches are trying to get in and get out ASAP.
After 30 minutes with Casey, my call-waiting started to buzz, and he was still going strong. I thought about trying to cut him off, but I figured there was no way I could pick up the other call in time. I spent nearly an hour and a half on the phone with him, most of it just talking random stuff about college baseball. We literally spent 20 minutes with him asking me about all the times I had gone to Omaha.
OSU has announced that an assistant will be the interim coach for 2019, and then they'll do a national search. A big part of me thinks Casey will come back after taking a year off.
It’s crazy to think we were interviewing him to replace Augie. I take it he just wants to go out on top rather than still coach for another 6-7 years.

Vets have told me they will be on cots in gyms. No hotels.
Between that source, your security analyst friend, and what you are hearing down at 31 Flavors, you clearly have the best info on the subject. Thank you for sharing.

Congrats to Austin Orange for abandoning his misdirection about social experiments in the Army and sticking to an obsessive desire to see the US hold a military parade that is more the tradition of autocracies than the United States.
His arguments cause me to lay aside the objections of 89% of the military and suggest that we hold the parades on every major holiday.
We can talk more about the social experimenting. Are you in the camp of, “if everyone can meet the standard, they should be allowed?” I thought I buried that argument when we actually looked at the standards and they were different for men and women, and unidentifiable for trans. No?

No tracked vehicles, cowboy. Bad for city streets.
Where will we find 100 wheeled vehicles?
Stykers, LAVs, 7-tons, Anti-tank vehicles, MRAPs, etc... certainly none of these are in units near DC? Just HMMWV in DC area, right?

100 horses?
I have no idea where they will get those. Even more mind blowing is 100 vehicles!!!! Most likely will have to tap into military bases on other side of the Mississippi River to get that much rolling stock.
Bates, you live in DC. How many military vehicles would you guess are in the DC area. 12-14?

Yeah, that sounds just like fleet week.
No. Fleet week is just all the ships/Tripp’s that are already stationed in San Fran Bay and NY Harbor. Both are two of our largest naval bases.

They’ll probably drive up from Fort Belvoir, Quantico, Annapolis, etc..., do the parade, and then drive home.

Actually, of the types you mean? Very few. Joint Base Andrews is a logistics base, so unless you want to make a bunch of loaders, pilots, airplane mechanics, and MPs march Penn Ave, you're SOL.
There is a small parade Marine Unit at the Marine Barracks, and this is exactly their forte, along with the Marine Band. Except its just a few hundred soldiers, so you're going to need to dig up about 6500 more. Also, they don't have any vehicles beyond some trucks and a few Humvees for security. The next closest base with actual troops is Qauntico, which has security and training regiments.
I assume you aren't actually stupid enough to think the officers and enlisted men at the Pentagon will be forced to march in Parade formation.
Again, you want all the shiny military hard ware? You will probably have to move it up from NC and Georgia. Which means either shipping it by rail then trucking it to down town DC.
Dude. Where do you get your info?
Quantico has 4500 Marines, Fort Belvoir has 4500 and another 10,000 reservists.. tons of ceremonial units that are used for parading.... Bands, Naval Academy, Old Guard, 8th and I, Marine Corps OCS, etc...

Roster shows 43 (now with Carr gone, 42). We have to get down to 35. I assume Hamilton will be one of those 35, too.
