  1.

Don’t think it would have mattered with the way he was playing v CJ, but that was a dogshit ruling. You could tell on Burns’ practice swing right before they cut away that there was a whole pool of water below his feet.

  2. Our wine person we go too when we load up recommended it, fantastic wine. Dollar sale from last August probably picked it up for 30% off.

That’s wild cause those are SUPER limited runs. Enjoy!

  3. Stolpman is now our longest standing club. We’ve swapped several over the years but that one is a fixture, and it’s awesome to see them progressively featuring Ruben’s wines.

  4. Paint jobs are crazy expensive.

I honestly don’t understand what’s driving those costs… it’s ALL expensive, but GOT DAMN painting is bananas.

  5. This has been a menu staple at Republique in LA since it opened and, IMO, you really don’t need much else.

These pan drippings are caught at the bottom of their rotisserie, and with butter and bread you’re telling the food pyramid to go fuck itself with a smile upon your face.

  6. "Becoming Led Zeppelin" is now on Netflix

Even if you’ve seen the vast majority of the footage before, it’s absolutely worth a watch IMO

  7. Picked this up for $1900 this morning to use in a birthday rally of sorts with my YouTuber neighbor next week. It needs to survive various torture tests.

Pops had a ‘97 540i Sport as his company car (man, things were good for these boomers).

Anyway, I pushed that thing well north of 140mph on multiple occasions… just a blast to drive!

  8. Also to answer your question about the targeting - reports state that the drones were preprogrammed with attack coordinates. Ukraine intel had everything measured down to a Putin micro penis. That's how they were able to hit without needing any agents in the vicinity. Just a brilliant care package from Ukraine.

I recall reading somewhere that they also used local Russian telecom networks were available to pilot the drones from afar… either way, absolutely brilliant.

  9. I wonder who put the plaintiffs up to that. I kinda doubt that a random NYC bartender just woke up one morning and said to himself, "hey, I should sue Diageo".
There's been significant drama in the tequila world lately. The Mexican government bitchslapped the additive free people. I really doubt they're behind this, though, unless they're just complete morons.

What did the government do, Just backing big business?

IMO “Additive Free” should be a full on classification administered BY the government, but alas…
  10. The amateur historian in me can't help but draw some similarities to the Battle of Taranto, in which Britain conducted the first successful naval airstrike that downed combat ready battleships and cruisers. The British pulled it off because nobody thought it was possible - they only had rinky dink wood and canvas Swordfish biplanes. That attack in 1940 is what proved the concept of naval aviation, and directly inspired the IJN attack on Pearl Harbor.
I feel like another military tectonic shift happening with the success of these drone strikes. This is a victory that could have tipped the scales during the Cold War, or at least caused the USSR to significantly back off due to a leg of its nuclear triad getting kneecapped. Ukraine did pulled it off with fuckin QUADCOPTERS! The weapon efficiency seen on the video is wild - "that one is burning, next one, next one, oh I'll hit that one that isn't burning yet"

Agreed, though this is more akin to a simultaneous SAS strike on Taranto, Brest, Le Havre, Toulon and Kiel in my opinion.

The complexity and elegance of execution are simply breathtaking… I hope there’s more!

  11. Texas has classic and antique.  Antique is more restricted - like car shows, etc.  Classic does not have the restrictions.  You can also run year of manufacture plates with no restrictions.  I have been running YOM  for 20 years on my '69.  I have at least four more pairs as backups.

There are SOME restrictions on Year of Manufacture…. They wouldn’t let me run my 1972 Farm Truck plates because it’s not in active service as a farm vehicle :/

  12. pretty impressive.

even if its only a few bombers, its gonna cause Russia to have to take a lot of soldiers off the front line to protect their airbases all over the country.

Or, just like folks suggested about air defense, it won’t… and Ukraine will be able to continue with such operations.

Regardless, it’s a huge win… waking up to this is like adult Christmas morning. Fuck ‘em!
