Robin's feed was always amazingly good when she was at home.  The one voice that I wouldn't really give a shit about most days.

Yeah I am kind of surprised that Howard hasn't had an ISDN line in his apartment for years you know "just in case".

Are we not going to talk about the ingredients of his pizza being expired meat from Wal Mart?

    100%.

Also I would have loved to have seen what was on some of those tapes that he clearly set fire himself to destroy.

  3. Famous Indian Chef dies at 59. He had been on about every cooking show that there is. Regular on Bourdain's, Top Chef, Food Network, etc. He was just on the most recent season of David Chang's Ugly delicious that just came out.

The chef was a force in New York’s restaurant community — making his mark on the dining scene in 1998 with the groundbreaking Tabla, a fine dining Indian restaurant opened in partnership with Danny Meyer and Union Square Hospitality group. It debuted at a time when the higher end culinary scene had few Indian restaurants and was a critical hit, receiving three stars in the New York Times. A cult favorite, the restaurant closed in 2010 but to this day is remembered as one of New York’s greatest restaurants, particularly known for its bread.

He also opened Meyer’s North End Grill, and then went on to open several of his own restaurants in both India and New York, which were also well-received. In Mumbai, he had the Bombay Canteen and Goan restaurant O Pedro , while in New York, he had Paowalla in Soho, a space that he eventually turned into a lively and colorful restaurant called Bombay Bread Bar. It closed just last year.

Switching back to serious. A good friend of mine has likely has it. All the symptoms and it is not standard flu. Breathing issues already. Won't know for sure for another couple of days.

It, sadly, likely won't end well.

I've been kind of trying not to think about it.

    My efforts aren't working.

Sorry to hear, why won't it end well? Other health issues or just a feeling?

the outfit kim was wearing when rich asked her to go to lunch was pretty ok.  at least from the back.

i'm still in eye-roll mode every time jimmy does something to fuck with howard.  is it bad that i would rather actually hear the lunch conversation between those two than see howard get embarrassed by hooks rolling in?

Yeah it almost feels like a forced story line just to keep Howard on  the show.

My prediction is that it is Kim being Kim.  Marrying Jimmy means spousal privilege prevents her from testifying against Jimmy in any legal proceedings arising from his shenanigans.

It's battered wife syndrome. She knows it's wrong and she really shouldn't be involved with him anymore but she just can't walk away. She has no clue what she wants. I thought bringing up marriage was a little lame but I am sure things are going to go from bad to worse for ole Kim.

Hindsight is 20/20.  If Sandra, Kim, and Tony had targeted Jeremy instead of Denise, would you still think Denise wasted her second idol?

She gave up short term protection (1 week) for long term gain. She is playing to win the $2 Million not stick around 1 more week.

The cleavage was spectacular.  Was really hoping it would have been the other one since she shouldn't even be on the show to begin with.  All Stars is brutal and no one is safe.

    Agreed.

I do remember though just getting exhausted of him constantly inventing a crisis, racing to solve it, and then on to the next thing.  The cartel's lawyer ended up being the most interesting character of Season 2.

Yeah, that's kind of the problem with the show is they have no where to go but to crank up the crazy and idiotic situations to get into and out of so easily.

All of them should have been dead at least 15 different times by now for their actions but yet here we are. Don't get me wrong I love the show but you really just have to embrace the crazy ride and ignore the laughable plot holes and real world consequences of their choices.

Kim is an idiot. I know her role is to show how Jimmy/Saul corrupted her, but siding with an old ornery asshole legally in the wrong and violating several ethical codes in the process just makes her look like a fool.

I agree but it's tough to get inside her own head. They have shown that she LOVES the pro bono side of things way more then the Corporate Law she has been doing. She loves Jimmy's ability to ride the edge of legal/illegal without a care in the world. She only wishes she could be that free, but instead she has become what everyone thought she should be and not the person/lawyer that she clearly wants to be.

Granted she doesn't need to destroy her own law career in the process but it is what it is. It's a little sloppy but I think she is so unhappy with who she has become that she is doesn't even consider the long term effects on her career/life. Having Jimmy/Saul be the only voice of reason and basically an enabler to her actions doesn't help. Instead of listening to Rick and his warnings (because he clearly can see right through her lies) she doubles down and makes a scene. Things are not going to end well as we know, it was a little heavy handed but still enjoying the ride.
