I know Dolly is a bit of a free spirit, fun loving lady but how the hell could she think that was a good idea? Whoever came up with that idea at the meeting of the minds should be kicked in the balls or ovaries.

Thanks captain obvious. Seems like we have it worse than most year in and year out. I think it is a question worth asking.
Heading into our final regular season game, we have two players listed on the injury report.

Who does Monahan answer to now? Who did he answer to when the PGA was a pure non-profit organization? He must feel extremely confident that the Saudi money entering the game is so outrageous that the PGA membership will conveniently forget how foolish he made them all look. Either that or his contingency plan with the Saudis is 9 figures and he doesn’t give a fuck if he’s out of a job in 6 six weeks.

We got Kevin Ollie sans ring

What the fuck are you talking about? AJ and Holland were both committed before Terry was even named HC. And he's already landed a player easily better than both of them.
Hope Abmas and Brock can run a killer 2 man game

When do the pre-draft evaluations happen for guys like Mitchell & Hunter? Don’t they go to the combine and workout as if they are committed to the draft, receive feedback, and then are allowed to pull out of the draft? The reason I ask, why would anyone believe news that Mitchell is having second thoughts on the draft if he hasn’t gone through that process yet?

Haith’s head coaching resume is head and shoulders above Terry’s fwiw.

RT is gonna be our HC 1000%. I'm choosing to have faith that he'll improve his overall coaching record here while taking us to multiple FFs in the next 10 years.
Being negative nancy doesn't do shit.
That’s the type of simple minded thinking that gets us stuck with Shaka for 6 years

Shaka made me laugh today. He’ll probably still make me laugh 365 days from now. I don’t expect to have the same emotions with Beard

If Terry is able to retain our recruiting class and keep Morris & Hunter around for another year, he should be considered. It’s likely this roster falls to ashes next season with a new coach.

Say Kansas and us both finish 2-1. What’s the tie breaker scenario? Or is a shared title?

Gradey Dick
Is he the same level of punkass as Caleb Grill and Matthew Mayer?Much more talented than those two. Not sure anyone in the Big12 can match the punkassness of Grill

Get ready to hate Grady Dick for those unfamiliar.

Now we see what Texas is made of. That win in ft worth is looking better and better.
That one was in Austin. Our game in Ft Worth is the last week of the season

If Texas takes Calipari off their hands I’d bet your life savings they will hire Beard. Maybe not mine, but yours for sure.
I wouldn’t take that bet.
Even if he doesn’t land at Kentucky, that job opening up expedites his return. The threat of him going to Kentucky is enough for a lesser school to jump on him the second his name is cleared. I’m with you though, Kentucky has to be the odds on favorite to be Beards next gig.
-
It will be interesting to monitor how the Kentucky coaching search runs in parallel with ours. Sounds like they’re kicking tires right now and the top of their list is probably identical to ours, with the exception being Calipari. Does Kentucky have the gall to go after Beard should he be legally cleared by March?

2 possessions 2 turnovers for okie lt. Good sign
-
All eyes will be on the defense, obviously. A seeming lack of effort led to the highest scoring game in Big12 history against KSU. Hopefully the players can respond positively with the Beard situation being resolved.

He’ll be at Louisville

UNC, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas, UCLA is tier 1
Texas, Indiana, UH, UConn, Villanova are a step below, but Texas is probably towards the bottom of that second tier (still top 10)I would not put us #1 in that second tier, compared to a UConn (2011/2014 titles) or UH (2021 Elite 8, 2022 Final Four) or Villanova (2016 and 2018 titles, 2022 Final Four) considering we havent made the Elite 8 since 2008.
The Texas job has more similarities to Ohio State & Florida than to the basketball centric schools you grouped us with above. Some coaches prefer the smaller, basketball focused schools. Not having to compete with football is appealing if you’re ok with the magnified attention.
On paper, Texas is amongst the best of the non-blue bloods. But certain types of coaches will never come here (jay wright) due to being second fiddle in the athletics department.
