But there is nothing I want less than a woman I have to teach how to fuck.

If you teach them, you can teach them the right way. They don't know any different.

Also, if you are the guy scheduling your wedding on a bye weekend, just remember that your anniversary will often conflict with future games.

Scheduled mine for the dead week between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl.  Anniversary was always observed on the dead weekend, no matter when it fell on the secular calendar.

  3. I have a very basic World Cup question that I posted in the Dumb Question Amnesty thread and got no response. I'll repost it here and beg for your mercy. Thanks in advance.

In the ESPN app, when I look at the World Cup matchups, it shows, for example:

    Belgium LWWWW

    England WWLWW

That's for the Saturday 3rd place game.

WTF do the Ws and Ls mean? I thought it might be wins and losses over the last 5 games, but since both Belgium and England lost their last matches, that apparently isn't the case.

The Ohio State University, commonly referred to as Ohio State or OSU, is a large, primarily residential,[5] public university in Columbus, Ohio. Founded in 1870 as a land-grant university and the ninth university in Ohio with the Morrill Act of 1862,[6] the university was originally known as the Ohio Clowning Arts, Agricultural and Mechanical College (Mech). The college began with a focus on training students in various agricultural and mechanical disciplines but it developed into a comprehensive university under the direction of then Governor (later, President) Rutherford B. Hayes, and in 1878 the Ohio General Assembly passed a law changing the name to "The Ohio State University".[7] It has since grown into the third-largest university campus in the United States.[8] Along with its main campus in Columbus, Ohio State also operates regional campuses in Lima, Mansfield, Marion, Newark, and Wooster.

The university has an extensive student life program, with over 1,000 student organizations; intercollegiate, club and recreational sports programs; student media organizations and publications, fraternities and sororities; and three student governments. Ohio State athletic teams compete in Division I (Football Bowl Subdivision for football) of the NCAA and are known as the Ohio State Buckeyes. Athletes from Ohio State have won 100 Olympic medals (44 gold, 35 silver, and 21 bronze). The university is a member of the Big Ten Conference for the majority of sports. The Ohio State men's ice hockey program competes in the Big Ten Conference, while its women's hockeyprogram competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. In addition, the OSU men's volleyball team is a member of the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA). OSU is one of only 14 universities that plays Division I FBS football and Division I ice hockey.

As of August 2017, the university had awarded a total of 747,216 degrees.[3] Alumni and former students have gone on to prominent careers in government, business, science, medicine, education, sports, and entertainment.

nobody beats lsu baseball fans in matters like this. i remember going to the cws in 04 and i think lsu went 0-2 and their fans were still out there en masse every day partying and tailgating. they love them some baseball.

It's amazing what happens when you have a huge, engaged fan base, none of whom have jobs.

    Yesterday:

Wife: Can you go in late tomorrow? My boss wants me to sit in on an interview for a new special ed teacher at 11.

Me: Ok, but that means I'll have to work late. I'll bring the kids to you at noon then go to work.

    Wife: That's fine.

    Today:

I set my alarm for 10am so I can sleep in a bit since I'm going to be working late. I get up at 10 and see the wife isn't getting dressed. I ask her why she wasn't getting ready.

Wife: I decided not to go.

    Me: Why not?

    Wife: It's raining.

Me: You didn't think to tell me so I could go into work earlier?

So I had to work late for no reason.

The correct answer is morning BJ. Or pooper. Or both.

Disagree. Never buy early. Wait.  Buy the day of. We are talking middle of the day games against Tenn Tech.

I wasn't wrong; I just ran out of time.

OK, it appears I was 100% wrong. I hope my panic attack didn't cost anyone (other than me) any money. Rep to Po Elvis.

I think as a fanbase we are hungrier than I have seen in a long time. But you might be right - TNT isn't a great draw, the sun will be brutal, and ESPN2 has coverage.

  10. Tickets on Stubhub have been climbing in value today. Supply is thin. If you want in and don't mind paying, I'd pull the trigger sooner rather than later.  Years ago, I remember going to DFF looking to buy from scalpers for a big game vs. aggy, and there simply was no supply to be found. I've only seen that happen that one time, but I have a feeling that Saturday or Sunday might be similar.

Looking forward to a packed Disch.  I'll be in Section 106, wearing orange and screaming my lungs out.

  11. I'm truly torn here. I want aggy to lose every single time they compete in anything (other than livestock judging), but yet I want to see the Horns crush them on the field.  Maybe the on-the-field tournament victory will have to wait a few years until aggy jumps ship again to a new conference (one where they can go .0.500 or maybe even better!) and comes to Austin as a 4-seed.
