Grubbs wife drafting divorce papers after moving from Seattle to Tuscaloosa to Seattle in 30 days.

I think divorce papers would only be filed if it was Tuscaloosa->Seattle->Tuscaloosa.

  2. Wait so the only rivalry games being played on the last weekend (“rivalry week”) are Arizona/AZ State and KSU/ISU?

So they protected only 4 rivalries (BYU/Utah, Baylor/TCU, KU/KSU, and AZ/AZ State) and they couldn’t even schedule 3 of them on the last weekend?

    instead we’ll get West Virginia/TCU, Baylor/Kansas, BYU/Houston and Utah/UCF.

    Nice move, Big 12.

Looks like we'll end the year around 10 inches of rain below average, or about 70-75% of normal rainfall. That stretch in the summer with no rain was ridiculous, but the stretch for the past month has been brutal as well.

As of today downtown LA has had more rain (28.13 inches) than Austin this year and will likely finish the year with a higher total. You really can’t say that very often.

  4. I hope Kate Cox came to California for her abortion (mostly to see Paxton go apoplectic about California). Maybe they’ll start “pregnancy checks” at Texas airports and on I 10. Just complete the transition to Gillead already.

And then I hope she and her family move here, where she can be free to make medical decisions about her body, and maybe get the third child their family has wanted.

From outside Texas looking in, there is no way I’d let my daughter (or sons) move to that fucking state (as well as about 20 others). Yeah Texas is gaining residents. Congrats. But if the type of residents you are gaining are brain dead MAGA morons who keep electing these assholes, it doesn’t bode well for Texas’ future.

I keep thinking “surely this will open people’s eyes” after every piece of crazy Texas legislation or court ruling, and yet it doesn’t seem to have an impact.  Texas seems a million miles from my experience there in the mid-90s, and not in a good way.

It's because people are hung up on the fact that Oregon should not currently be in front of Texas based on resumes, and somehow those people think the committee might correct that AFTER Oregon beats an undefeated team to win their conference.  I don't understand it, but that seems to be the argument.

It’s the same people that were sure the committee would come to its senses THIS week after they saw the result of the Tech game and realize they were making a big mistake this whole time by having Oregon over Texas.

But I’m sure if/when Oregon beats undefeated Washington the Committee will for sure move them below Texas. For sure.

  6.  For those that say tomorrow’s rankings don’t matter, I’d say look at Oregon’s ranking vs Texas. If Oregon is still ranked above UT by the committee tomorrow, the door is closed on Texas taking Oregon’s place in the CFP. It will mean the Pac 12 Championship game is a play-in game.

If Texas is ranked above Oregon, there will at least be a chance. (Although of course the more likely path would still be the FSU loss and/or Bama win scenarios).

To be fair, if they beat Washington then they will have two wins against comparable teams. (i think we still have the argument based on overall SOS).

It’s this. The thing that will matter will be who you play against/beat next week. If Oregon beats unbeaten Top 4 Washington (and avenges their only loss of the season) I don’t see how the committee leaves them out, given their bias towards recency.

I think it ends up being OSU/Mich, Georgia, Texas, Oregon at the end of the day.

The biggest brand in college football losing in the last 12 seconds of a top 3 rivalry game to a then top 10 ranked Oklahoma at a neutral site in October when their starting center and several key players go down early in a self induced shitfest of a game then running the table and winning the conference outright with so much parity and a strong ooc schedule which includes a win by double digits away at night against a top 7 ranked Alabama who’s only loss is Texas is not getting left out if the playoff.

That’s the longest sentence I’ve ever read.

The EU and gasp, Paris Hilton pulling their ads from X. The funny part of the Paris Hilton change is that Yaccarino highlighted Paris last month.

When do we fast forward where Elon just pulls the plug on X? There is no chance that he admits his mistakes and leaves the platform to professionals.

I don’t think he’ll pull the plug on X. He’ll just keep it around as it continues to devolve into his own “Truth Social” playground full of hate and dildo ads.

Really needed west coast OSU to beat WA last night ugh.

    FSU could lose now.

other than that we need Oregon to win out, Bama to win out and we slip stream in via SEC SEC SEC partly because we are on our way there and mostly because Fuck the SEC we beat them in Tusky at night.

it’d be really great if Texas could put together two complete ass whippings the next two weeks too. Somehow getting to avenge our loss to OU would be good too but fuck OU nothing good comes from seeing them advance anywhere.

If Oregon wins out they are in the CFP in my opinion. Wins over Oregon State and an (potential) avenging win against UW for the conference championship in their next 2 games? In.

I think FSU gets left out, mostly because I think they will lose to Louisville w/o their QB.
