  1. There's a Texas Burger in almost every major town on that drive, but I can't really recommend it any longer-- last few times it was pretty terrible. I think they merged with Subway and it all went to shit.
  2. Hagbard was in my wedding party and even I'm not reading that.
  3. There's no way we get 5 home games. With OU always at a neutral site, we will always have four true home games and four true away games. Same thing for Florida-Georgia. Anything else would be a scheduling clusterfuck.
  4. Assuming we are paired with OU/A&M/Arkansas, either the Aggies or the Piggies will have to make consecutive trips to Austin (‘25 and ‘26) to keep the schedule balanced. The meltdown (in either case) is going to be glorious.
  5. I know the answer. Hint: the two teams open the season against each other this year. Both teams also suck now, otherwise I’d be mad that the game is taking place while we are playing Ohio State.
  6. Got tix for Tulsa before they announced the San Antonio show, but that’s fine as I’d rather see him in the smaller venue. It will be my seventh McCartney show.
  7. It's 100% a "Buckingham Nicks" reissue after all these years of delays (the lyrics they both posted are from that album's "Frozen Love"). But the fact that Mick posted a video of himself listening to "Frozen Love" a couple days ago tells me that there may be some live shows under the "Buckingham Nicks" name with Mick on drums. And yeah, you know they'd play "Landslide" and "Dreams" and "Never Going Back Again" and "I'm So Afraid" so it's essentially a Mac reunion anyways. I will spend whatever it costs to see this if it happens.
  8. Ridiculous. I want to like and support this sport but this is comical bullshit.
  9. I was at the baseball game last Sunday. My wife and kid were playing in the bounce house on the third base side, so I was sitting at one of the picnic tables trying to watch the game. CDC happened to walk right by me, and I was about to introduce myself when he pivoted, reached down, and picked up a discarded napkin off of the ground. He then casually walked to the nearest trash can and deposited the waste, at which point he continued walking. I just sat there staring and thinking to myself that we have the best fucking athletic director in all of college sports. Every little detail matters to this guy. We are so lucky to have him.
  10. I've known Hagbard for almost forty years and I still don't know what the fuck he's taking about at least half of the time.
  11. I’m hoping Ewers goes to the Rams. The offense suits his game (short passes, QB rarely runs) and the current backups are Jimmy Garoppolo and Stetson Bennett.
  12. Just bought tickets to see Pulp at Red Rocks in September. Never been to a show there, and I’ve never seen Pulp. I might not even be able to get up there for it (I have a six year old) but worth the risk to get the seats.
  13. Went out of my way to try these a few years. They were disgusting. Even the chili was beyond terrible. I was genuinely angry.
