We had 8 total receptions worth of returning production at the WR position heading into the SEC, that is not a good formula for success. I would expect for Sark to loosen up the receiver rotation a bit this year since there is a lot of talented depth that needs to get experience. I would like to see us field 6-7 WRs that get consistent snaps. Cook, Bond, Golden, Boldin, Wingo, Niblett and Moore should all be seeing action next season.

I know sark has a history of only using a handful of players at the WR position but it may change. That was pre portal. May rethink it to keep players in the fold as long as they are productive. I’m sure he wants to keep the high value players around for consistency.

  2. Say what you will about Oklahoma St. Gundy does a good job there and they are competitive every year. I hope they have success in the  Big12 going forward. Yes they fuck up and lose games as most teams do and win some they shouldn’t, but overall Gundy is a good coach. Thanks to them for winning and covering my parlay.

  3. Sark needs an OC. He is a west coast pussy that has no balls.  Not sure how much input OL coach has but thinking this is not a saban influenced type offense. I think PK has done a pretty good job. We shall see how how the Seay plays out

  4. Sark is a good OC. He is a great OC on the west coast. Trying to do both OC and HC is not a benefit to him ( the call up 14 on the int). Should have been in HC mode and ran not gone under center which they hadn’t done all game mans not sure MM has done very much.

His off is very west coast type. Not sure what it was like at Bama but im sure saban had influence. I would hope he keep developing with hands influence going into the SEC. The turnover early going in to go up 21 was him being a OC not a HC

3rd and 11 ball through the hands of J-Whitt. Colt had to lob it over #4 Christian Story to avoid it being picked off. Punt

3rd and 6 perfectly thrown ball to X in the end zone and Worthy dropped it. Then Auburn missed the field goal.

3rd and 2 and Sark drew up double short crossing routes. Sanders is supposed to run his route to create a natural pick to free up AD but Sanders runs a bad route and the DB slips right by. Ewers has to basically throw it away.

Colt????  Colt Ewers.  That actually sounds ok.

That’s the story I’ve heard from shortly after it happened by some folks that heard all of the gossip by being involved with the sport.

That said, XM 84 had the AD at the time for Arkansas, Long, on right before the Missouri State/Arkansas game this year. Childers and Neuheisel interviewed the guy about the whole thing and he swore two things were true at the same time - Petrino was in a minor motorcycle accident; and the fiancé of the girl he was banging did in fact have a “physical altercation” with Petrino in which the fiancé didn’t come out the worse for wear.

So I don’t know if the motorcycle accident is totally untrue, or if it is convenient cover and did actually occur. He ran the bike aground turning out of a parking lot and skidded on concrete into an embankment, allegedly. Maybe he was trying to get away from the angry cuckold and took a turn too fast as he was chased from campus on foot?

This is the story i heard also from a recruiter from there that was on our campus after it was reported. He was having a good laugh about it.

Nah fuck that he's worth more than I am and I have a college degree and more life experience than he does.

He can take an L and learn from it. I'm sure he's worked hard to get to this point - he can keep working hard and readjust.

I appreciate what these kids do but they are getting some insane perks right now. Them learning how to navigate that environment doesn't seem unfair to me.

Can you really say this with a straight face. He has dropped and not attempted to try catch passes all season. NIL or no he has driven his value down.

the OL is young and inexperienced, and we've done well recruiting that area. i think we'll be a lot better on the O line in '23, and i really like our freshmen RBs. i think they'll combine to be more than serviceable next year.

I like our OL recruiting also just very disappointing with what i saw tonight

If Neyor is healthy and playing next year, Worthy is going to tear it up in the slot. He still had 7 catches for 80+ yards. Neyor is the X, Worthy is the slot. Whittington is the Z. Then you have Thompson, Red, Cook, Moore, Nibblett, and Cain. A portal guy is needed maybe two if Whittington leaves. Most of the spring and fall reports always mentioned Ewers hitting the big play to Neyor and not Worthy. Even in the spring game it was Neyor making the deep catches.

    Wishful thinking

i hope you are correct because we can all agree X is not near the wr he believes he is and haa displayed this season
