  1. I read that he didn’t end up losing the eye. He’s still partially blind in it though. He says everything is now just really blurry in his right eye. That still sucks, but I’m guessing far better than totally losing an eye. He was all set to record the current season, but his doctors strongly advised against it.

  3. Caught it in the theatre tonight for the 25th anniversary. I’ve watched Shawshank at least 25 times, and tonight was just as good as the first. It was also very cool sitting between two people who had never seen it.
