I knew it was reloads. Knew it.
Both nice guns. What is your gun budget sans glass? Why 270 (just curious)?

Thx for the help.  I spend time online and at the gun stores and the general consensus that I came away with was that a .270 was a rifle that would work best with what I would be shooting ( mostly deer ) and still have the ability to bring down anything else in North America if I wished.  It is my first hunting rifle and I wanted to have something that would perform well and last.  I ended up buying the Tikka t3X Lite Stainless.  Now I need to find some glass for it and sight it in.

    Thanks for the help!

  2. Looking to buy my 1st 270....I like the Browning xbolt and the Tikka 3x.  Anyone have any experience on these or perhaps another direction I should look into?  I want a nice firearm that will last me forever and that I can pass down.

  3. Ok, I'm looking to take the wife and kids to NYC for a Christmas trip.  Looking for tips and advice on where to stay and any suggested activities for the family.  I was thinking maybe we could see if we could see the Nutcracker, go see the Big Christmas tree, maybe some Ice Skating?  Any other do's/dont's.  Precciate ya!

  4. I have a question......when is and when isn't a salesperson responsible for the retention of a customer?  Is the answer 100% of the time?  What if a product or service levels are below expectations.  Is there ever a time the responsibility shifts?

I have a small veteran company that services my pool for $150 a month and have used them for 3+ yrs now (NW Florida.) They've never raised the prices and are genuinely good people. I travel a lot as a defense business consultant, so servicing the pool on my own is not an option.

$150 buck is GREAT!  I'm in the Austin area and the general consensus has been about $250-$300/mo.
