  1. This is going a little crazy. This season Im sure will be a lot like last season. We jerk off and wind up with a bad loss to a shit Maryland but then come a stupid Ehlinger fumble away from beating USC with Darnold on the road. We come one blown coverage away from beating OU with Mayfield. We come one stupid Ehlinger interception away from beating OSU with senior QB Rudolph.

All those teams are probably worse this year and I'm sure we'll find a way to have a shot to win those games and others.

Now do Ehlinger and Mensa dumb fuck away those games? Probably some of them.

I don't know, the idea of a Papa John's delivery car driving onto the field through the tunnel and interrupting game action is intriguing.

Yep interrupting all that game action during the lightning storm. Also not like they dont have tons of pizza already made at the stadium that they like sell and stuff.

I wonder where that news came from because he's right they were definitely talking about it on the fox broadcast

  3. Main similarity between Strong and Herman?

Both, through either ego or sheer stuborness, refuse to follow the number 1 rule of coaching: you build your "system" around the talents and strengths of the players you have. You don't try to force a rigid system on players who can't run it.

This team has an OL that is far better suited to pass pro than power run blocking. The QB's strengths are more simple quick throws and no huddle. We have several receivers who are best able to work in space. And finally we have zero TE who are either game breaking receivers or great at power run blocking.

The personel screams offense that spreads the field and works to attack defenses that are forced to go nickel and match up with the receivers in space. Yet here we are with Herman trying to force a power running game on an OL and QB that can't handle it. Pure stubbornness.
