When was the last time we had a well coached secondary? I don’t think I’ve seen a DB turn around in 10 years

Penix was throwing dots all night, it didnt help.
You aren't a mod. Put me on ignore then. Shut up.
Penix was amazing as were their receivers. That was predictable imo. I won't pretend to be a football expert but it seems to me that DBs can find the ball better, get fewer PI calls, and a coach can find a way to limit the explosive plays. We were never going to get pressure so why send the extra man?
Still happy with the Season overall but I'd like to see improved DB play next year.

Penix is really good but did we ever have a db look back for the ball?
All year our DBs look like they are coached by Ray Charles

Texas 31
Washington 24
Penix 25/42 320 yds 3 tds 1 int 3 sacks
Washington 104 yds rushing long of 34

How has our D-Line faired at creating pressure against teams in the Shotgun? Will the extra yards to reach the QB diminish our pass rush?

Easy when your OL can get away with murder
lots of late hits and hits to the head also going uncalled.

You sure about that?
I stand corrected. I think I was dumbstruck that he wasn’t coaching. Why is that the case?

Unpopular hot take: Elko is going to do well at A&M.
I was surprised by how well he did in the booth. Didn’t sound like an Ag. Dline was also more talented than I expected given the portal exits. I could see them fielding a decent team.

Get ready for a real pass rush first time all season Penix.
going to have to get pressure with 3 or 4 because he makes quick decisions and gets the ball out.

People keep talking about missing two big men. College basketball is guard dependent, and we don't have good guards or good depth. I don't see how Disu or Shedrick overcome those problems unless we get multiple guards to make shots consistently.
the bigs help create the opportunities you seek

this scenario is such liberal fantasy. It completely denies the why of those things happening.you will not find an Israeli bombardment that didn’t start w Palestinian rockets.
peace has been offered many times and refused. They have literally no one to blame but themselves - regardless of how morally repugnant Bibi and every settler is

I work in conversational AI at Insync.AI.
What goes over most people's head is that Language Models like ChatGPT and Bard aren't Knowledge Models. They are merely predictive models of what they expect to come next in the word/sentence/paragraph based on what it has seen.
They don't actually "know" anything at all. They are like 9.95's in that way.

Am I the only Longhorn that does not mind TCU winning it. They have done what they needed. They can beat their chest but they did not beat the best team of all time to gain the same thing. The pain and false hope aggy would feel would be precious to me. I guess I am in the minority. Maybe I think we will get another one soon since joining the SEC will do what joining the BIG XII did for us as far as talent is concerned.
Emotionally I don't care. Rationally, in my view, it don't make a shit. All of these schools recruit Texas. What is TCU NIL like?

On vacation and I've only seen some clips. Did Hansen and Gordon pitch that badly, or is directional Carolina just that strong at the plate?
I don't know anything about baseball - almost literally - but it was evident to me that Gordon was about to give it up well before we pulled him. They started getting contact on every ball he threw starting in the 3rd (if you'd like to debate that, talk to the stewardess serving me gin and refer to the part about me not knowing shit about baseball before you reply)

Let's not do this. I live in LA, too, and I might look at it differently if I made 8 million dollars a year. Both Austin and LA have their appeal.
It's highly subjective. I find almost nothing appealing about LA.

Favorite part about UM's secondary...when they made plays they didn't spend all of their energy celebrating themselves every time.
