  1. I didn't read all of it but you'd think that the atf agent that applied for the warrant knows that the 4473 referenced in the warrant is not the most current version?  I'm no lawyer but guessing that would make the warrant invalid?

  2. I was informed this weekend that we are hosting a Christmas in Feb for my wife's extended family at our home.  This includes her 3 felon cousins and she insists that everyone stay at the house/shop.  Two of the three felons have turned their shit around and are pretty good dudes, third one is a straight pile of shit.  We always celebrated holidays at her grandparents house before they passed and was a good time for the first 5-6 hrs with lots of good food, booze, pitch playing.  After hr 5-6 her uncle (father of the 3 felons) is drunk and reminds 2 of the 3 how shitty they turned out and all hell breaks loose with lots of awkwardness.  Wifes Grandma called the cops on the pile of shit felon a couple yrs ago for showing up un invited.   Brother and Sister in law will both get black out drunk and yell/scream at each other and then attempt to drive the 1.5 hr's home.  Good times

Say a guy takes a 25 mg thc gummy in the evening before bed and is no longer feeling much.  Would switching it up and going with some delta 8's or 9's for a bit and stop taking the thc help with bringing back it's potency?

  3. I was out prepping food plots and drinking beer Sunday afternoon.  Wife texts that she has a meal plan and click list so we won't have to go back to the store all week.  Guess who left all the meat, cheese, milk in the back of her ride for 24 hrs and then had to pick up another order on Monday?

Never understood the allure of shooting a bear/lion/elephant/etc. Not at all knocking those that do, I just never got it. Kinda like basketball. I recognize MJ was the greatest ever, but I couldn’t tell you how many innings in a match to save my life. But I won’t hold it against those that do. I’ll stick to my whitetail (and split tail), and the occasional dove or grouse.

I've got a buddy that makes sausage out of it and loves to cook with bear grease.  Plus I want a bear rug to go with my wolf rug in the bar.

Oh, OK. Sounds like you need to get your priorities in order.

I shot my biggest bull last year and still sitting on a pile of meat.  I am going to shoot a bear while I'm out there so there's that.

Why not hunt with a muzzleloader?

Dates don't line up.  ML is sept 10-18 and I'm taking hunters 20th-30th.  Can't swing a full 3 weeks out there.

77 and 771 around Pagosa Springs. It’s an area managed for access and not for trophy quality, so there are a lot of hunters, but my hunting partner has a family cabin there that puts us in a great spot where we can hunt all day miles off the trail and get a hot shower/cold beer/warm meal/soft mattress every night which makes it more enjoyable and less work. 35 sounds like a beautiful area.

There is so much “point creep” right now for trophy areas - I know I’ll have to go landowner tags at some point if I want to get a really nice bull. Luckily I’m still in the stage where I feel truly thankful for any elk I can put on the ground, so I’m going to enjoy that for as long as possible.

I also drew a mule deer buck tag which I’ll convert into a preference point and I bought a moose preference point as well - maybe in 20 years I’ll have enough points to draw a moose tag.

I drew a muzzleloader bull tag but will be guiding archery hunters.  I called to see if I can surrender the tag for a preference point and the guy told me that I cant do that and I go back to the original point #.

  8. I got a new pair of filson wool gloves for xmas this year.  The right glove went MIA from my truck the week after duck season closed and I have been oddly sad about losing such a replaceable item.  Today while at school drop off my ten yr old daughter jumps out and screams your not gonna freaking believe it!  Glove is laying there in the grass in almost perfect condition 3 months after losing it.  Sometimes it's the small things in life.

It's very easy to keep the tanks from sloshing. Go buy the 100 foot, 4" corrugated french drain hose from Home Dept. Stuff the whole 100 feet into the tank. The slits eliminate air from being trapped in the hose. A 275 gal. tank will still hold about 273 gallons. I got the idea from here:

Whats your setup from the tank to the black bowl?  Or how do you keep the water from all running out?

I am done with the mods. Lift from highlifter, MTX soundbar, added a 2 tone car/truck horn, and finally tires today. Oh, and did add a few weeks ago a bedliner so crap won't slide around I the steel bed.

Edit: went with maxxis carnivore 8 ply tires.

Any updates?  I'm picking mine up next week.

Marion CC, Marion, KS. It's a 9 holer but the greens and fairways are excellent. Play the white tees on the front and blue tees on the back. We only have 120 golf members ($1K/yr) so we don't get a lot of traffic. You don't need a tee-time, just show up and play. I think it's $25 for 18 and $20 for a cart, put the envelope with money in the cash box. Honor system. We play 2 1/2 hour rounds with up to 6 in a group. Jackrabbit golf. I leave my office at 4:30 and I'm on the first tee in 10 minutes. It's not Prairie Dunes  but you can almost see it from here. Come on up and we'll play. Several of us volunteer to help our greenskeeper stay ahead of the mowing.

Get the fuck outta here! Played in a dove golf tourney on that course about 15 yrs ago.  Pretty sure still not allowed back.
