  1. Rian Johnson ruined this trilogy by not making Rey go to the dark side. We only got a glimpse of how badass that would have been in this one but it was awesome. Instead, we get Emperor Palpatine in a story that makes no sense, full of force healing fatal wounds that other jedis just wouldn't bother to heal, and all sorts of other convoluted garbage. This trilogy is only barely better than 1-3, which is amazing given how terrible 1 and 2 were.
  2. I'm expecting this to be so terrible that people start viewing TLJ as the best movie in this new trilogy.
  3. LSU won a national championship with 2 losses before we even had a playoff. A 2 loss team can and will make a 4 team playoff at some point.
  4. OU vs Georgia and Clemson vs Oregon would be great games. Baylor and Memphis would both probably get stomped, but I would still watch.
  5. Independents would be able to get an at-large spot if they are good enough.
  6. Expanding to 8 would allow conference champs to get auto-bids. I would like that.
  7. K-State didn't play Texas and OU in the same year on the old Big 12 rotation.
  8. I believe the Stoops rumor because I don't think it makes much sense that FSU would have fired Taggart this soon without having a name in place and ready to go.
  9. 1 loss OU gets in over 1 loss LSU or Alabama. Conference championships are not going to stop mattering to the committee at the expense of a program like Oklahoma.
  10. The teams they have beaten have a combined 16-45 record. None of them have more wins than losses.
  11. It's Lil' Red, actually. Says so on the ball cap.
  12. Nebraska is a 3 point favorite at 2-6 Purdue, and I would not bet on them. Strange times.
  13. If I weren't good enough to beat Indiana at home, I wouldn't want to play Ohio State or Michigan, either.
  14. It depends on your specs. I would recommend Crusader Kings 2. You are more likely to be able to run it, and it is free. It's also a better game at this point.
  15. It's kind of amazing how so many people are upset about OU not getting bailed out of their loss by the referees. A forced touching call on that play would have been a travesty.
  16. At this point, I think the best we can all hope for is an undefeated Baylor losing in the CCG to a 2 loss team, causing them to fall from the playoffs to the Alamo Bowl. They already have tiebreakers over KSU and ISU so I think they would have to lose 3 games to miss the CCG.
  17. Looking at schedules, I see K-State as the most likely team to make the CCG after Baylor and OU, simply because they have already defeated OU. It's really hard for me to imagine anyone other than OU winning out at this point, though.
  18. No undefeated P5 school is missing the playoffs.
  19. Probably. If Baylor can manage to beat OU, it's possible that OU doesn't make the game, though.
  20. He's not going to rot for this. Worst case scenario for him is he ends up being removed from office and Pence pardons him.
  21. The "we expect you to cheat and will guarantee your contract if you get caught cheating" clause is an interesting approach to a contract.
  22. I view losing 2 muffed punts and fumbling a 3rd down interception return more as bad luck than anything, since it's not the offense turning the ball over and surely the team can find somebody else to field kicks. Winning a game on the road despite all of that tells me they are a solid football team. MSU isn't great, but they aren't terrible, either. I think KSU beats OSU on a neutral field, but at night on the road, I don't think the spread is big enough to feel comfortable betting on them.
