As an ND fan I feel like I see this different. He was complaining about travel, he did not come out and declare independence or die, he said no 3rd super conference, also was complimentary to Warren. I will have to go back and listen.
This interview to me was the weakest I have ever heard when declaring independence. Too me he was laying ground work. Maybe I am wrong.

The lack of any statement from ND is really surprising me. Our admin usually jump out and says something.
Jack Swarbrick favorite retort is we're monitoring the landscape.

We will not be in the ACC in 2025

Here is a unique coin for pet lovers (or investors)!
Great team and still pre-marketing. https://classicdoge.io/

Uhh the B1G was not about to take OU and their clown level academics in.....
I believe if Delaney were still commissioner they would have in a heartbeat if they knew what was to come. But this weak leader they (Big 10) have maybe not. But the ACC and the Pac would have. And I still believe the Big would have strongly entertained the idea.

That is the biggest issue is any of the three super best friends would have taken OU and Texas.. These three conferences are pitching a fit because Tex and OU went to the best conference,boo-hoo. The answer is not to throw a tantrum and cut access off, but to make yourself better. Weak-sauce.

How long will it take for All 3 conferences and ND to agree on this?
ND will be a bit torn on this. We want expansion of the playoff and partnered with Sankey on this issue. We have been really silent lately since the whole playoff debacle. Aggie screwed everyone over by trying to stop the move.

Some key excerpts:
...CBS Sports spoke with several high-profile administrators who will have a direct hand in the discussions. Their conclusion is that the entire proposed structure and access to the CFP must be reevaluated as a result of forthcoming conference realignment as triggered by the moves of Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC...
...The 10 FBS commissioners are due to meet with the CFP Board of Managers (conference presidents) regarding expansion in September. The goal is to summarize findings after in-depth talks with athletes, coaches and administrators on their campuses. That's the next step toward finalizing a 12-team structure...
...However, more than one Power Five source told CBS Sports that the September date could be pushed back because of the SEC's actions. Complicating matters is Bowlsby's assertion that ESPN conspired with Texas, Oklahoma and the American Athletic Conference to take down his conference in realignment...
...Per the CFP, it would take a unanimous vote of the conferences to approve playoff expansion. Could one conference refusing to play along scuttle the entire plan?
"We mange (sic, lulz) by unanimous consent, but it isn't going to fall apart on that basis, I don't think," Bowlsby said. "I don't think people want to have a situation where most of the strength is in one area..."
..."It just feels uneasy relative to the 12 [teams]," Kliavkoff told CBS Sports. "I'm assuming my colleagues, nationally, this is a reason to pause on the 12. We need to pause..."
...With so much happening, more and more administrators in power are now asking: Why wouldn't the CFP wait and go on the open market to maximize the value of product after the 2025 season? That's when the current deal with ESPN ends. ESPN has exclusive negotiating rights with the CFP until then...
ACC fans love this and are calling for CCG only because ND purposely screwed over the ACC for their own benefit. ESPN, Sankey and Swarbrick fucked them over.

Congrats to the Longhorns...

Bowlsby is such a wanker. It is the worst kept secret that ESPN does this shit. Exposing it does nothing but hurt the schools he is suppose to serve. Good luck going back to ESPN during renewal. Fox will be the only bid. NBC is all but out of CFB, and CBS likely will pay shit. SO dumb.

When is the SEC suppose to vote on OU and Texas "application"?
-
Next on the wheel of death- The Pac 12
If they fuck with the playoff it will be ND and the SEC fricking pissing on their head.
-
-
The PAC is poking the bear. ESPN will have the ACC offer a mega conference to the top Pac teams and decimate the Pac 12.

Pretty sure you guys are up after this. Let the fun continue.
Just wait for the meltdown when we buy-out the GoR in the ACC.

Nice, congrats UT. The saddest thing is this thread may die soon.

What the fuck is this shit? Give me one good reason to choose any other conference? It was that trip to Rutgers you were looking forward to, right? Or Minnesota? Wisconsin? I hear winters there are delightful. Maybe all the late night games on the west coast, when everyone is watching? Maybe you miss playing Colorado? They still have a football team, right?
Rutgers is full of potential, that is what I hear from their fanbase.
