That was a hell of a throw by Sanders.

I always thought Waxahachie had a cool fight song.

Arizona St to Oklahoma Baptist wouldn't be high on my list either.

If they were smart, they'd give Thujone a blank check.

Just a thought. Banks on Saturday, Williams on Sunday, and Ewers on Monday. It almost as if they are coordinating this and giving everyone their day. I couldn’t wrong
So Tuesday's the day?

Walk the bases full and play for a double play ball.

Pitcher #7. Good grief. Do they have one guy who can go longer than two innings?

Seems like in a case where the ball was thrown out of play, the runner had 3rd base (if ruled by position on base path at time of throw) and would have been allowed to advance one base to take home. Very strange though. One of those things you never figure to happen and when it does there's always a gray area. I remember Jose Canseco head-butting a ball over the fence for a home run while playing right field. Difference for this one is it hit the ground first. Weird nonetheless.

"There have been 7 walk off homers by a catcher in postseason history".....CRACK
Damn, that was some timing.
When he said that I said and here comes number 8. you know that always happens when announcers say shit like that.

I'm no baseball expert, but the announcers said it was at the umpire's discretion. It obvious the runner would have scored, so give him the run and put the batter at 2nd. Problem solved.
That's true, but with a caveat. The runner was determined to be between 2nd and 3rd when the ball went over the wall. Would he have scored ? Yes - easily. Umpire ruled him back to 3rd due to where the runner was when it happened (and similar to how a traditional ground-rule double would have been ruled). If that ball bounces over the short wall in right field (untouched traditional ground-rule double), it would have been ruled the same way - runners on 2nd and 3rd - regardless of whether the runner would have scored from first or not. The crazy thing to me/question is the contact with a defensive player. The rule states if the player wasn't controlling the ball then it doesn't matter. It's a ground-rule double. I'd expect a rule update/clarification on the player contact part in the offseason, but what's done is done. You cant say Tampa would have definitely won or Boston would have definitely lost because of that play though with Boston hitting a 2 run HR at the bottom of the inning. That's only 1 run and Boston got out of the inning after that. It's one of the weirdest plays I've ever seen. And I am glad the umps deferred to NY for ruling. It would have looked like "the fix was in" to me (and I am a Red Sox fan) had they not done that.

Nice to see my efforts to paint NH burnt orange aren't going unnoticed.

Happy for Ian and Mitch. Mitch especially had a great series. And I take back all the bad things I ever said about Price.

The game is never over with the Boston bullpen.

JV looks way to upset for someone that's gonna go home and nail Kate Upton tonight.
