No kidding. Either some pro-Texas folks are in the committee or they aren’t. Texas vs World once again.

In an absolute chaos scenario where everyone loses but Oregon and Texas, Oregon would still be ranked 1 and Texas would still be ranked 2.
there is no mathematical possibility where Oregon is in the CFP that they are not the higher seed than Texas. Which includes them at #4. Texas will not be #3 or #2 over a #4 Oregon. There is no way to make it work. You are all talking about insane shit and wishcasting - a higher ranked team beating a top 4 team to get into the CFP is not getting left out under any circumstance to make room for Texas. This is not in the realm of possible including if Bo nix dies on the field.
The conspiracy theorist in me says this is all about money and TV rankings. If you allow for human corruption, this is how we go in ahead of Oregon if FSU loses and Bama wins:
#1 meatchicken vs #4 Oregon
thus allowing for ratings explosion #2 Texas vs # 3 Bama and the amazing ad sales that follow.
otherwise, yea, they stay ahead. -

The scenario seem pretty clear for us to get in. More interestingly, tell me who to root for this weekend for us to get a first round date with FSU. Is there any way that can be the 2-3 game?
Iowa destroys Michigan, georgia gets pounded by Alabama and the Pac 12 champ game gets hit by an asteroid.
even then maybe the buckeye slips in aHead of us

Im calling my shot: Gumps beat the deliverance boys, we score 70 on Okie lite thus pitting
#1 Meatchicken vs #4 Pac12
#2 Gumps vs #3 Longhorns (the highest ratings of any CFP semifinal in HISTORY)
Think about the money boys. Ol Sankey will be claiming 2 SEC teams in the playoffs, ad revenue through the roof, and all is right in the world.

If you are only there one weekend a month the cat will move on to greener pastures(the local old lady who will feed it). Also cats can cause significant collateral property damage left to their own devices. Screens and posts shredded.
Perimeter bait boxes with poison(there are low secondary kill risk professional baits) are the only thing that will work at this point. You need ongoing bait program and a serious effort to secure any access points. Now you have a path of rat piss marking the paths into your cabin that won’t fade naturally for several years.
The closest gravel road is 1 mile away, pavement is 7 miles away. No old ladies.

Wouldn't this result in the rotting dead carcass' of dead rats in your nice home, to stink and disgust the place upon your infrequent arrivals? Then you spend hours cleaning up and airing out the place?
I like the one stray cat idea.
Thats the weird thing, the poison is some
kind toxic anticoagulant so blood trails all over the floor, but the rats somehow crawl out the way they get in (by chewing holes through wood walls) before dying. So place hasnt stunk yet. Plus its cold weather, so I suppose they just take a while to stink if dying in the walls.

I swear it worked really well for us at the time. We have a mouser (cat) now, so I haven't seen a live mouse in over a year. Anyway, you spray it around the outside of the house and, especially, in area which you think they're getting in. It won't hurt the dogs, and it smells pretty good as well.
Im going to try this as well. Thanks.

Sounds like you need me to watch over the place while you're not there. Not a problem.
Seriously though Jif Corn Bread Mix and Baking soda. Search YouTube for it. Can put in medium tupperware container with hole cut in side (get containers at dollar tree etc). Rats go in and eat the tasty mix and then later when they drink/digest the baking soda / stomach acid mixture ends up killing them.
Perfect. Thanks

Ive got a cabin in the Ozark forest and its great. But we only go about one weekend a month and it keeps getting rats. Its clean, but is basically in the forest so every winter they invade seeking warmth.
Im using poison to kill them, but with dogs I dont like the chance its going to kill one of them at some point. Still, they chew wires, leave a mess, and Im just sick of them. Its too remote for a exterminator and I dont go enough to dump a bunch of stray cats there.
Got any tips to get rid of them? -

Going forward, I hope we see lots of five wide sets, since we dont have Brooks.
it puts such a stress on the opposing defense, plays to our Offensive line’s strength of pass blocking and opens up the whole field for throwing.

Never winning a game again is still not enough punishment for overlooking a grown man showering with a 10 year-old in your fieldhouse.

I’m packing up to head to Colorado in the morning. My elk season starts Saturday. Packing has been pretty hectic, since I was whitetail hunting all last weekend, didn’t get as much done on my Colorado prep, so it’s going to be a late night and an early morning tomorrow. I feel like my gear situation is probably ok, but I’m wishing I had some more time to shoot long range with the hand loads I’ve worked up. Still need to load some extras tonight. I’m bringing several boxes of factory ammo as well and need to spend some time shooting up at elevation Friday. It’s weird, when I started doing this trip a few years back I just threw some stuff in a bag and went, now I’m worried about every little gear detail. My partner is up there already and has seen a lot of cows and does but no bucks or bulls. It’s warmer and drier than usual where we’re hunting, which I don’t mind staying dry, but the snow does seem to help the hunting sometimes.
Did you get drawn or going OTC?
