  1. The 2020 thread got sidetracked and was talking about Tommy Brockermeyer a bunch, figured I'd bring that discussion back here. Anyway, someone asked a good question over there that didn't get answered: how much of a foregone conclusion is it that he comes to Texas? Obviously it helps a whole lot that his brother is here and their dad went here, but it still seems to me like any competition for (what I'm assuming will be) a top 5 recruit nationwide has the potential to be more complicated than you might expect.
  2. That would also explain the random Arkansas CB
  3. OSU hasn't really been in the race for him up to this point, have they?
  4. Hmm not a big Santorum guy myself
  5. I don't think it's a bad thing at least
  6. That's honestly a good point. It's the most powerful thing we have.
  7. I, for one, like the fact that I can feel morally superior about my team's recruiting practices
  8. My bad, forgot what thread I was in
  9. I'm amazed you caught that before I edited it 20 seconds later lol
  10. https://twitter.com/texcrystal_ball/status/1138280087659405312
  11. In light of Troy Omeire, any update on Quentin Johnston?
  12. So what's an overview on Quentin Johnston's status? Doesn't seem like we're recruiting him very hard.
  13. How significant is a Roach CB at this point in the cycle?
  14. Is he implying he was bought?
  15. Real talk though, any chance he keeps moving up the rankings? He's certainly close to 5* territory
  16. I'm hoping that if I follow recruiting enough I can add Twitter to the language section on my resume
  17. lol Perroni with the JQJ CB, that's a satisfying thing to see
  18. I heard he was once nice to a fan that didn't know who he was, but that's all I've got
  19. I think this is the exact effect it has. I remember reading about this a while back - people don't feel the need to get super boozed up before the game because they know they'll have access to it, so they in turn drink less on average. It's a win win for the schools.
  20. Don't remember who said it but I read a great take on Bru the other day: "He reminds me of a cross between Antonio Brown and Odell. We'll have to see what he looks like on the field though."
  21. Plus it's just better for enjoying the fair in general. Much harder to do stuff when you get out of the stadium at 6:30 as opposed to 3.
