they will look at the overall body of work.

the UH and KSU close games will hurt us.

the OU loss will haunt us forever, and they will rub it in forever. 2023 was the best shot.

and if Bama gets in over us, the "SEC SEC" chants when Yormark was speaking, will look sillyshitastic dumbfuckenstein.

By this same logic then bama is turbo fucked cause they almost lost to USF and Auburn and Arkansas

The Duke 247 guy (Adam Rowe) and Tarp wrote an article - they think Elko stays at Duke.

    The gist:

"After talking to numerous sources, we feel comfortable reporting that Elko has indicated to multiple people, including his players, that his intention is to stay in Durham as the head coach at Duke."

"They (commits) are all operating under the expectation that Elko will be their head coach next season.

At this time, I feel comfortable stating that will be the case."

Hey man, remember when Herman told everyone he wasn’t leaving Houston? Id trust 99% of these guys as far as I could throw them

  3. It’s not that the job has some curse on it and it’s an actual “Coach Killer.” It’s the fact they hired a bunch of shitty coaches and were running 2nd/3rd/4th fiddle to so many other schools during most of their history, but mostly us obviously. They cheated themselves into relevancy, got caught, went back to being irrelevant, moved to the SEC, had one good year, and built the hopes and dreams of the program on top of that season. Then they cheated themselves into what they thought would be relevancy again but has turned them into a complete laughing stock. They have the money and “infrastructure” that should make the a premier destination for a coach worth his salt but it’s never materialized. But what good jobs have people gone to, not succeeded, and had great and lengthy careers after? We know how the story has gone for all the coaches that failed and left texas. Same for Nebraska, Alabama, Florida, etc. So it isn’t that you take the A&M job and you’re doomed to fail, it’s that they’ve hired people that were never fully qualified to begin with and failing was inevitable.

  4. I’d assume they’ll make a quick move a Elko, pay him a crazy amount, and try and hold on to everyone on the ship so they can try to make a last ditch run at a championship next year before Weigman and most of the 22 class enter the draft or portal out

  5. Not to be this guy…but aggy is winning this weekend. They almost did it last year on the road against a better version of this year’s Bama team. Bama’s o line is worse this year and Milroe hasn’t gotten any better. but both of these teams actually stink and it’s only clear when they play equal talent or a team with good coaching. I’ll also go on record as saying I’m always wrong, so there’s that.

I liked those brilliant 4th down plays by Sark. One was a goofy pass play that landed at Sanders' feet and the other one was a run up the middle that got blown up immediately.

If Quinn didn’t panic and hit sanders in the chest that was a 1st down.

and if Mitchell didn’t completely whiff on his block and let his man blow up the play then maybe we don’t get stopped there.
