We’re riding El Burro out of the dessert of stale offense into the promised land.  Thou needn’t butcher thy palm trees, though, this is a different savior. Â
When Mexico completes its re-conquista of Texas, We’ll send El Burro over to haul you fellers (and one item each) across the Sabine to safe haven.  We’ll even save a prime spot for you in Tiger Stadium..in the top row of the East upper deck.  You treated us like family this weekend and it won’t be forgotten.

I am calling you a liar on the fans or that Orgeron mentioned anything a week before the game.
About 50 seconds in.
Â
My first reaction is to say “who cares, it’s irrelevant”, but it’s not my house that burned down.  Of course you’re going to pick through the ashes looking for something meaningful to latch onto.  I’m not trying to deny you that part of the grieving process.
LSU coaches heard it was hot in the locker room and planned accordingly.  Reports are that it was still hot with the blowers, but no one feels that that affected anything.  BFD, it’s a non-issue.  I played football in high achool and never had ac on a visiting locker room.  At LSU during 7s rugby tournaments in the summer, we played 5-7 games in a row (playing the entire game both ways obviously) and never went inside a climate controlled building all day.  I’m thinking of one in particular at Texas A&M around 1999 or maybe 2000 and Texas sent an A and B team.  I may have seen some of you there.  I was the good looking center with the slick handles that lacked top speed.

This crap is going to continue until either A) Orgeron straight up admits he's a little bitch that lied about having no A/C in his locker room to cover for his soccer flopping fake injuries or
I think these are 2 interesting sticking points after the game.
Â
Orgeron mentioned the AC thing the week before the game and said they were bringing fans.  In the post-game, he was asked about it, and said they didn’t have AC, but were prepared and it didn’t affect anything.  Neither he, nor anyone employed or associated with LSU “bitched” about it.  It was presented matter-of-factly before and after the game, and only when asked.
Â
There is no way of knowing if a player is actually cramping or faking.  Speculate as much as you want, especially if it makes you feel better about the outcome, but don’t expect non-Texas fans to take for granted that which can’t be proven.

it's over...fucking deal.
I guess you think this is possible because of all those other times it’s happened in the history of sports forums?
You don’t go onto the website of another fanbase and tell them to “deal”. Â

Burrow acted like a douche, but he backed it up so he can act how he wants. If we don't like it we should shut him up next year.

No chance.

"TU"? Really?
For the sake of clarity. Â Tennessee is UT, and LSU just played them in 2017.

There's blitzing, and then there's betting the farm. TO bet the farm and lost it. It was not the right call anymore than Prevent Defense would have been.
As I said, there was no correct call.  Not only could the TU DBs not cover the LSU receivers, they weren’t really staying close to them much of the time.  You are incorrectly assuming that because what they did didn’t work, what they didn’t do would have.  Burrow missed 3 throws in the second half: 1 drop by the RB that caused the first 3 and out, 1 throw away out of bounds, and one actual miss.  If Burrow had time to throw, he was almost certainly going to complete the pass for a first down.  The blitz presented the opportunity for a negative outcome.  The larger issue was the missed tackle by Texas’ best player, but even that wasn’t the worst possible outcome.  The worst outcome was LSU getting the first down and scoring a minute or so later leaving Texas down 14 with no timeouts and a few seconds left on the clock.  In that case, there is likely no late TD or onside kick to leave you with the feeling that you were just a couple plays short of sending the game to OT.

You want to talk football go ahead. Otherwise get the fuck out. I have had enough of this conspiracy theory garbage.Â
Ah, it kicked on, I feel it now. Â
Ok, let’s talk football.  I thought the blitz on 3rd and 17 was the right call.  At the very least, it wasn’t the wrong call.  There didn’t appear to be any possible correct calls or alignments for either defense in the second half.
Â
I prefer dominant defense, even if it means an antiquated offense.  It’s hard to watch the ball move through your team like shit through a puppy. Â

That was a pretty good game, Texas (not addressing the state, or university, but, rather, this dildo-wielding ANTIFA rally you call a forum). Â Johnson looks like your best RB. Â That guy knows how to finish runs. Â
There were as many questions raised Sat night as there were answered, for both teams.

2018
Texas rz td 66%. LSU rz td 48% offense
Texas rz td 56%. LSU rz td 56% defense
ÂAnother thing to ponder:
It’s 2019.
