    Don't forget to keep aggy

I'd personally write a check for you to take them back. Whatever our differences over high powered offense vs stifling defenses, or recent success and/or lack thereof may be, them sumbitches are strange. Really wasnt tryin to be a dick today but I know I got carried away cause I enjoy football shit talk and I'm happy this weekend is upon us. Again, nice site you got here, happy to eat my crow if we lose. Be kind to the LSU guys that visit this weekend and we'll surely return the favor next year boys 🍻

And what was probably your second best decade, what did you exactly achieve? How many conference, national championships, NY6 bowl wins?

the answer will always be the same, more than Texas did.

fuck yall even post like ole miss fans.

LMAO... congrats on your 10 year success.  When you have 50+ years of ongoing success, you can then claim DBU.  Until then, shut fuck up and sit your ass in the back because you're sounding like aggy.  This is what separates blue blood programs like Texas from programs that have one good decade and suck shit through a straw the rest of the time.  You're in the same fucking class as Florida, Georgia, Aggy, Miami.  When you can sustain decades of success maybe you can sit at the table with Texas, ohio state, usc, bama, Michigan, ou, Notre Dame.

congrats on your ten years of shitting the bed. wheres the "ongoing success"? Lsu hasnt missed a bowl game since the 90s.

i see ole miss levels of success here but without the SOS. i see a tremendous fall from grace and i understand now why you hold history so dear, because its all you fuckin have.

Lol...so y'all dbu know because of practice squad

We dont put out practice squad players...we put out starters

    Adams

    Mathieu

    Peterson

    Tre White

    Greedy Williams

    Eric Reid

^starters off the top of my head. probably missed one or two. LSU puts out starters AND practice guys.

Come to DBU, theyll put you in the NFL.

Go to Texas, youll get drafted if youre a starter.

    which one sounds better?

The NFL doesnt give a shit where you were drafted...they care about if you can play

This is starts plus other stats from 2006 to after 2016

Add up starts/awards for peterson/Mathieu plus newer drafted guys

We will add our starts/awards/drafts for earl, vaccaro, diggs, hill ,boyd, phillips and elliote6c06137e1635e12660cb8ec45bc72d2.jpg

So your contention is that NFL scouts dont give a shit if theres continuity in a coaching staff that churns out NFL caliber DBs year in, year out? Corey Raymond being the DB coach here 10 years doesnt give NFL scouts an added sense that if a DB comes from LSU hes gonna know what the fuck hes doing?

LSU has 12 DBs on active NFL rosters.

Can one of you tell me how many Texas DBs are currently playing in the NFL? Or does that not matter cause of the 70s, 80s, and 90s?

See, completely ignore the 70s, 80’s, 90’s because that historical data doesn’t line up with their view.

We’ve been light at all positions the past decade, but that doesn’t negate the previous 40-50 years.

And CUMULATIVELY, we have a valid claim even though you have had a much better last 10 years.

Sorry old timer, I dont give a shit about games that didnt happen while I wasnt alive and admittedly the 90s were awful for LSU fans. So ya., in my view relevancy matters. You know who else it matters to? Recruits, and NFL scouts.

Are you mad that they wear Texas shirts too? They wear Texas shirts because we're Texas and they wear DBU shirts because we're DBU. Fuck out outta here trying to claim it when our historical and current DBs blow yours out of the water.

somebody tell junior here that LSU has had 7 DBs drafted in the past 6 years with two projected 1st rounders this year, the No. 1 DB in last years recruiting class starting in this years secondary, with the No. 1 DB committed in this years upcoming class. Im not calling you a liar, but the recruits, the NFL scouts, and the numbers do.

And here we go with the manufacturing disrespect bullshit.

It's odd they didn't wear them for the LSU game, huh?  Don't you think if they wanted to send a message, that would have been the time to do it?

Has the LSU game happened yet? Manufacturing disrespect is quoting a guy out of context and not addressing the compliments to his opponent.

Wearing DBU shirts the week before you play DBU when you havent had a 1st round DB drafted since 2013 is attention seeking behavior. Its not even a diss if it only draws speculation and confusion as to why Texas would try and claim it in the first place.

How many times did Sam burn him or his team? It goes both ways but the difference is one is running his mouth before the game and the other will let his play do the talk.

Well Sam fuckin lost so not enough times. Would you like me to show you the loss?

Has anyone noticed how quiet our players have been on social media following the win last Saturday? It's almost like a storm is brewing and I love it!

i sure as fuck noticed the DBU shirts being worn last game. I along with the rest of the CFB world thought it was pretty cute.

Let's try this differently.  Read the following sentences.  Then circle the answer of the one that is NOT disrespectful to the person in question.

    a) "She ain't much to look at, but that's not a shot at her."

    b) "He's not very smart, but that's not a shot at him."

    c) "South Austin's mom has a gaping vag, but that's not a shot at her."

    d) None of the above.

    e) All of the above.

    C) "South Austin's mom has a gaping vag, but its not a shot at her, cause her head game is on point."

    see what im sayin?

All he says is that he uses his legs more than his arm.

"He has a decent arm, but it’s more about his legs."

^so if he calls his arm decent and then says "its more about his legs" does that mean Chaisson isnt paying respect to the mans scrambling abilities? What you have here is a future first-rounder paying respects to his opponents ability to make people miss, while also having the self-confidence to say hes going to do his job. Not to mention he didnt have to say hes not taking a shot at him if he wanted to take a shot at him.

  13. 2 minutes ago, Ghost of Shag said:

You've got Chaisson talking shit about how Ehlinger "isn't much of a threat....but that's not a shot at him...." and how he doesn't think we have a chance.

cmon man post the whole quote. they played each other in high school. Hes saying if he has to chase him down he'll do it, cause thats his job to get after him. Literally compliments him by saying hes dangerous with his legs. Dont bite on the headlines.

“I don’t really find him too much of a threat, not taking a shot at him,” Chaisson said. “But he uses his legs more than his arm. Just like in high school. He has a decent arm, but it’s more about his legs.”

as for the LSU fans predicting a blowout, theyre just drunk buddy 👍

I don't think you really have an appreciation for true spread offenses

got me there fella. im an LSU fan, weve been forced to appreciate defense for what feels like over a decade, but id be lyin if i didnt like seeing 5 straight TDs in the first half this weekend 😂. I can think of several high powered offenses that LSU has slowed down.  i know beating A&M doesnt count for much around here but 74-72 snapped a 7 game win streak over those puffs. they run spread right? Florida won last year, but they snapped a 3 game losing streak doing it. lamar jackson. manziel. mahomes. LSU has a good track record containing talented QBs running effective offenses not from Bama. With a defense thats got experienced 4-5 star talent this deep its hard not to feel confident in any game really. LSU has won alot of games the past decade despite its offense, not because of it.

anyways if im wrong im happy to come back thru and eat my crow.

Saturdays gonna be fun boys 🍻

"manhandle spread teams" but gives up more than 70 points to aggy...

what a bad example to use. you really think theres any shame in taking a 7OT loss on the road? the bowl selection committee sure didnt think so.  if LSUs defense doesnt routinely suffocate spread offenses, at least more often than Texas does, then explain why last year LSU finished 26th in total defense after giving up 74 points in a single fluke game, but texas finished 58th? If LSU is bad at handling spread teams, does that make Texas fucking awful at it?

Remember, those guys are on a different level.  Even when we dominated Georgia, well, that was last year, and well, they still played a lot better than us, on a different level.  The score was deceptive.  Win or lose, LSU is going to show Texas HOW to play football!

Well said. Nice site you boys got here. While LSU may be new to the spread game and im fully aware there could be kinks to work out in the new offense LSUs defense definitely isnt new to manhandling spread offense teams. Quite the opposite actually. The really exciting part is that this is the deepest LSUs been on defense in years. Barring injury there are several 1st rounders in the secondary alone (Fulton, Delpit).Texas is a good team and Ehlinger can ball. Really happy for this matchup to emphasize how special this defense will be early on.
