  1. I was in Fort Collins several years ago on a business trip and asked my co-worker what the fuck is that smell? He says “oh, that’s just Greeley” Awful smell, it was as if someone had shit in my nose. Other than that, Fort Collins is a great city and where I’d recommend your friend stay. No way in hell I’d stay in Greeley

  2. My 6 yr. Old daughter has recently started taking lessons for hunter jumper and the place she’s riding at has offered us a lease on a horse for around 2K per month. Any thoughts or advice on this? This is my wife’s thing as she rode as a kid and the closest I’ve ever been to a horse was betting them at Manor Downs.

Depends on if they are sets and what the mintages are but usually they are anywhere from $200-$350 per coin.  I would take them over to Capital Coin & Bullion on Burnet and talk to Chase or Mel.  You might also want to call into APMEX or SD Bullion and find out how much they will give you too just with them you will have to deal with the hassle of shipping and won't get paid until the shipment arrives and is processed.

Thank you! I stopped by there last Friday, but they were closed for the holiday. After that I stopped in McBride’s but she wasn’t wanting to buy in the volume I have (something about end of year taxes?) and told me to come back in January. I’ll go back to Capital this week and see what they think.

If it was a fucking dumbass throwing a cigarette out the window…

That was a weird press conference. They were all slapping each others backs like they have the fire put out already.

Yea, can Yeomans or Jim log on here and explain to us what in the world changed these past days?  All we’ve heard was the well-below-average, wetter-than-normal May/early June would buffer temps for at least several weeks then boom, 3-4 days later we’re getting blasted by endless August blastfurnace and talking about a potential week+ of records.

    What’s happening?

On last nights weather, Yeomans basically said he doesn’t know what’s going on and can’t explain it.

  7. Standing in line at the post office to renew my 6 year old daughters passport “Dad what would happen if you mailed plutonium?” That definitely garnered some strange looks..

  8. We just renewed my daughters passport, but even with expedited service we’re looking at 7-9 weeks which puts us pretty close to our intended travel date.

Is it possible to use one of these services if you’ve already renewed? Also, does anyone have someone they’ve used in the Austin area?

DALLAS — Stetson Bennett, the Georgia quarterback who just led the Bulldogs to a second straight national championship, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication early Sunday morning in Dallas, police confirmed to WFAA.

The arrest happened around 6 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Tribeca Way in Old East Dallas, according to police.

Officers responded to reports of a man banging on doors in the area, police said.

When the officers arrived, they found Bennett "and determined he was intoxicated," a police news release said.

The release did not say if Bennett was the man reportedly banging on doors, and it did not say where, specifically, they located him.

Bennett, 25, was arrested and taken to a city detention center. It was unclear when he was being released Sunday.

More information about his arrest was not released.
