I like this view, which shows Venables up front a bit more clear as he tumbles.

Well I for one, selfishly feel much better seeing Arch out there yesterday. Agree, it was great optics and hopefully pulls or solidifies some recruits on the fence.
Small sample size, yesterday and spring game, but it just seems like he has some intangibles we haven't consistently seen with Quinn and certainly not Malik. Dude has juice, I'm excited.- 1

What is this feeling... it's been so long, I'm jacked! Manning... he's Him!🤘🏾

Just worry about Texas Tech, it's payback time.... One game at a time, whatever will be will be. Just please, give us an appropriate beat down of Tech on our way out. 🙏🏾

Michigan has always been my favorite Big 10 team. Primarily because after visiting this shit stain on this earth that is Columbus Ohio in 2005, I'll pretty much always root for their enemy. But I'm rooting heavily for Penn St. to beat their ass tomorrow to hopefully put this ridiculous story on the 2nd page and let the rest of the teams get the headlines they deserve. They cheated. Massively. And they have zero right to play in the CFP this year.
Ditto, was just telling my wife, that I can't believe I'm going to root for Pedo St. and James Franklin, hate them both.. just in hopes of seeing them shut Michigan's woofing. Michigan should have just come out from the start with Harbaugh owning it, apologizing, admitting it got out of hand, then getting rid of Stallion. Now they are backed in a ridiculous corner, ready to go down fighting to claim Harbaugh had no idea this was going on.

these fuckers really wanted us to lose, fuck em
I never want us to lose. Which is why it sucks to see poor play calls that increase the odds of us losing.

The staff play calls lost this, if it ends up that way. I don't put this on the players.

I saw him actually read progression and pass to completion, so that play wasn't.I wonder how much of his early success is due to scripted plays.
He looked a little shook late, but he was probably just as mad Sark didn't kick the field goal as we are.

The play calling makes me want to cut people. Who let's Sark do the dumb things?

I was hoping Maalik would be fire, but he's not him, not even close. And it's even more upsetting that this showing indicates our QB depth is worse than we thought. Texas at this point, should have next man-up talent in the room. Maalik won't be able to handle Kansas State next week. Especially if we keep getting these poor play calls in the red zone from Sark, assuming we get there.

Yea, the idea that Sark is the sole reason why bad passes get thrown or Ewers went deep so often last year was baffling to me. There are ALWAYS other options for the QB to take. It's a progression read offense. The QBs who do best in it are the ones who make their way through the progressions fast enough. It is Sark's job to call the plays that optimize the reads his current QB is most capable of making.
Quinn is much better about not forcing the deep ball this year.
I'm with those who think he's playing a much better game this year. But everyone keeps saying Sark runs a progression-read offense, I rarely see Quinn going through progressions. It seems like he already has it figured out who he is going to throw the ball to when he gets to the line. He certainly doesn't look off a defender, or throw open a receiver, plays I see a lot of other top-tier QB's routinely make. That has been the most frustrating thing for me to see, even though we are winning.

Exactly, they looked lost that game, didn't have their crutch to lean on.and huge LOL if this is truly the reason they got smashed by TCU last year
Such a crazy turn of events to what has looked like a magical year for Michigan.- 1

Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams make it so easy to dislike them. I love seeing them lose.
Edit: Especially Caleb, him sulking on the bench all alone after the loss. Nice to see him get knocked down a peg or two, his ego is too much.

Ewers had been flirting with an injury for a few games now. I don't know why someone didn't drill into his head to slide and protect himself if he had to run.

That spot was jacked, but I"ll take it. And I'm cautiously optimistic about Malik playing moving forward. Once he settles down, I think he brings a completely different game that the players would feed off of.

Now let's see if Sark loves the game, or just likes it.

How do they just lose intensity like that. Everything changed with 6m to go in that half
Idiotic fake kick. Should have taken the 3.

Great game, terrible start, and 1st quarter. It felt like they simply played 4 better quarters of football. If we don't whiff the start, I think we win the game. It still feels like we are the better team and when we play them for the Big 12 championship, we leave with league with the crown. #HookEm!

If we win the RRS and Quinn has a good game, he should be the Heisman frontrunner. Sark is turning him into a dual threat QB, who the Heisman voters tend to like more than just pure pocket passers.
I like that Quinn feels more comfortable running it a bit more this year, but I think "Sark is turning him into a dual threat QB" is a bit of a stretch. He's not a very fast runner at all, but I like him seeing an opportunity and taking it for positive yards, then getting down without getting hurt. And while not a true dual-threat, the simple threat of run opens the game up a lot more.

Oregon is going to eat well that day. Although I wonder how many Ducks might sit this game out in prep for NFL?
