  1. So what’s the biggest hurdle getting to the conference championship moving forward?

UH handed WVU a loss and now it appears to be Oklahoma State, but can we get fucked out of the conference championship if they beat OU and both teams win out?

  2. Not Grateful Dead but in the same vein of music

From this past summer at Red Rocks

Impressed with how they sound recently and Jimmy Herring is a wizard. Hope to see them soon

Texas admin is dumb as shit, so they’ll probably give Traylor a shot next. And he’ll fail miserably. Rinse and repeat.

I completely see this happening and CDC will lose his job once half the stands are emptied in every second quarter

Remember that Patterson left TCU because, ironically, our defense was so shitty last year, and things had been mediocre for several years. Our defense is already looking  much better this year. That said, I'm not at all sure that TCU can beat UT this year. Y'all sure looked salty against Bama.

    Fuck you you jinxing fuck

Still Austin Cask Strength. It’s good and priced sort of OK.

Will put that on my list. Thanks for the recommendation.

  6. On a little Texas whiskey/bourbon kick

Just tried the garrison brothers small batch and was a big fan (not of the price of course)

I’m thinking my next move is to try Balcones single malt and Treaty Oak Ghost Hill

Any other recommendations or feedback would be appreciated, thanks

    What in the actual fuck?

Seriously, this conference has done no favors for Texas and is pulling this shit? The officiating has been awful and we’re suppose to stand by and allow this to happen? If the SEC really wanted to welcome Texas and OU with open arms wouldn’t they ensure we’d be there in 24?

Whole lotta misunderstanding of our industry in this thread lately in my opinion.

Some of y’all would do well to spend a day or two in the offices of small, private upstream O&G companies in Texas. Finding and selling oil and gas in the earth’s subsurface is an absolutely fascinating, challenging, and technically demanding business…

Nothing better than your well prospect logging 3-4 pay sands with beautiful neutron-density crossover and off-scale/wraparound resistivity- absolutely knowing you’re about to be the hero at the office that day.

Oh yeah, this is all happening about 2 miles beneath the surface.

    Good shit man. IYKYN.

I’m interested in getting into this field professionally

Any recommendations on which route to go?
