  1. It's weird that he's acting like he was left at the altar, when Yormack wasn't even here when Texas/OU announced they were leaving, and the only reason he currently has this job is because that happened.  So I guess, you're welcome for your paycheck, douchebag.

I'm confused... thought tech doesn't need Texas ??

Hey, guys!  I have a great idea.  We'll put a billboard in Austin insulting the Horns, and also beg them to play us.  That should get the desired outcome, right?

Half of them are international students as well.  We've hired so many aggys lately (not my fault) but they've all been from India or China.

Yep, I work with a guy who recently graduated from A&M.  He doesn't understand American sports and moved back to India after he got hired on.  I can't even raz him about being an aggy because it wouldn't resonate with him.

There is a lot of crazy shit being thrown out by those guys, but one of my favorite takes, repeated multiple times in these screenshots, is that Ewers somehow sucks because he didn't play at Ohio State last year. Nevermind that he reclassified and joined the team at the last minute in order to partake in NIL in the state of Ohio. He was a fucking high school senior with no preseason prep. Who on earth besides these rubes expected that guy to do anything other than redshirt and play sparingly?

Haynes King, who they touted as a shouldabeena 5 star QB showed up to ATM in 2020 and promptly ... redshirted. Any quality QB showing up to a campus and willingly redshirting is normally considered a good thing for the player and program, but apparently not when it involves Texas.

Agree.  I'm of the opinion that if you have a true freshman starting at QB on day one, even a QB that was a 1.000 5 star, then something has gone terribly wrong with your QB room along the way.  We need to get back to the days of redshirting all of our QBs.

    Same # -- 1.

Over that time period, A&M has had a higher winning percentage (67% vs 56%).  But, they've done so against a lesser average strength of schedule (Texas 17 vs A&M 26).

LMAO that they faced weaker competition after moving to the SEC! SEC! SEC! than they would have had they stayed in the Big XII.

PS:  Neither team has any reason to brag.

Our record would be better if we played 1 FCS team a year, too.

Baseball Gods should smite the Pigs in perpetuity for that Omahogs shit.

Yep.  I'm embarrassed for them.  They've never won a national championship in baseball, yet they thought that was a good idea.

Because that's how round robins work. Always have, always will. The champion is the team with the best record at the end of the round robin. If two teams are tied then they're co-champions. Head-to-head tiebreakers were invented for postseason considerations, which is exactly why we're the #1 seed in the conference tournament.

Which is why "One True Champion" is a stupid byline for the Big 12.  We have co-champs all the time.

I bought post season packages every time before and it didn’t get me included with the season ticket holders

I guess I'll just consider myself lucky.

They must think you are a season ticket holder then.  I just got off the phone with them and they said it was only open to season ticket holders right now and maybe next week it would be opened up to others.

Not sure why they would think that.  However, I have bought post-season baseball tickets in the past, so maybe that lumps you in the same bucket?  Dunno.

Haha, me and NMAS are trying.  Here's what I got from Katie.  Current season ticket holders can't be 50%.  I hope UT isn't fucking this up...team deserves a great post-season crowd.

Katie: Right now, we're only taking baseball post-season tickets from groups at a certain priority level, they aren't on sale to the general public.
We will have a smaller than usual allotment this year, with capacity restrictions, and do not anticipate being able to fill beyond current season ticket holder requests. No guarantees even for season ticket holders this year.

PantsTent: Is it season ticket holders or loyalty point ranking? Can you say what the loyalty point ranking cutoff is at the moment?

Katie: It's season ticket holders first, and then within that group, by loyalty point ranking.

That's weird, because I'm not a baseball season ticket holder, and I was able to request tickets.

    Online or by calling?

Online.  I clicked the link in the email.  It took me to the season ticket renewal applications page of TexasSports.com, and there was an option to request baseball postseason tickets there.

I emailed the ticket office and they said tickets can only be requested by 2021 season ticket holders.  That's what?...maybe 10% capacity.  They better expand that out after next week to others and not fuck up our home field advantage.

FYI, I do not have season tickets and was able to request post season tickets this morning.  Try again, and good luck!

  13. Update:  I emailed the ticket office and they said the option to buy baseball postseason tickets would show up in my account by the end of the week.  Not sure why they sent me the email on Tuesday if it wasn't available for me yet, but I'll take it.
