I wanted to like this show, ejected after 6 episodes. The plot plodded too long, the characters weren’t like-able. Interesting concept, poorly executed.
Felt the same way. Bolted after 5.

People actually look at fundamentals for stonks?
Shorties certainly do.

Why is everyone so intimidated by Kat? She's not even Irish
Obviously, Harry doesn't seem to be at all.

The author of The Empire of Summer Moon S.C. Gwynne is featured in the Comancheria episode. I wonder what they cut because it’s a pretty mild interview for Gwynne. Of course, the History Channel dug up some distant relative of Quannah Parker to balance Gwynne.
Is the Comanche were a noble people really a PR campaign now? Because, Jesus Johnny.
I noticed how they left out some key information of the San Antonio massacre of 1840.

I was only able to get three to level 60 before I just got too bored with this season. I've moved on to PoE2.

And that's when I realized ole QT is down with lady feet. Not sure how many closeups of Bridgette Fondas feet there were, but it seemed like a lot.

Thief on the Criterion Channel. Honestly shocked I never saw it before since it's both a Michael Mann film and a James Caan film. Loved it. No one can make gritty streets look awesome like Michael Mann.
Love the score in this movie.

i don't like mindy's writing, i love it. her shows have been hit or miss for me though.
i love mindy project and have done multiple rewatches. obviously her office episodes are mostly classics. champions was god awful. enjoyed late night and sex lives. didn't watch never have i ever but heard good things.
this show just seems beneath her. a lot of lazy, tropey bits, unfinished storylines, inconsistent character arcs and plots. it's like 10 people each wrote 1 script at the same time and turned them in without checking with each other. also most of the characters are terrible people but all in pretty much the same way - i get it, they're siblings, that can happen - but probably shouldn't in a tv show.
also it somehow made me dislike drew tarver, which i didn't think was possible.
and this is without getting into the impossible challenges of writing a show involving professional sports. i won't judge her for those mistakes, as everyone makes them. just let me know when you're done.
morons. i've got morons on my team.
Ok, Percy Garris. LOL!

I’m interested to see what others think about Episode 8. I found it one of the best written and directed TV episodes in a long time.Well done, but a hard watch.

sounds like a lot of you enjoyed the first one.
i've only seen a few minutes of the first movie. in one scene, affleck had an accent. in another scene, he did not have an accent. i thought this trailer might clear up the mystery, but it did not.
were there some scenes in the first movie where he faked an accent?
Hmm...don't remember the accent variance, I just know the character has severe OCD. Maybe that's it.

I've never been a Dylan fan, but I really enjoyed this movie. Highly recommend.

Anyone else watching The Pitt? I'm liking it a lot, but that's cause I was a fan of ER back in the day. I think it was originally supposed to be a continuation of ER with Wyle as an older Carter, but the Crichton estate wasn't down unless they got credits or royalties, I don't know, some real greaseball shit. Either way, entertaining show.
3 episodes in. Really enjoying it.

Still holding all positions. Not trading these stonks. Hoping Santa rewards my patience in 2025. Will revisit in 6 months. Happy New Year!
I like $IBRX. Heavily shorted and major insider ownership.

I think this will continue to dip at support around 25 and resist around 45. Nice to play around with during PM and AH.

Has anyone here ever attended a live taping of Kill Tony? I was trying to figure out how to get tickets and saw the next ones in January are listed as having a limited presale, with warnings about buying from 3rd party vendors. I can't find when the tickets will actually go on sale. Any guidance is appreciated.

Another weird criticism but he should dial back the profanity. Specifically the f-bombs. I’m a huge fan of the word fuck, it’s irreplaceable in certain situations, but when it’s every other word it cheapens what could be pretty effective dialog.
Pure lazy writing, IMO. All of his shows have this in it, but this one is definitely over-the-top.
