This thread: They never call holding on the other guys!

Refs: We just called holding on them twice in the first quarter.

This thread: Yeah, but you didn't call it at the right times!

Are you OK bro? Maybe avoid a cowboys game thread?

    man....

    I love college football

but I still have no idea who I really want to win this  really wish the FSU game had been played first

??? Georgia gets in if they win. We have a good chance to get in if Alabama wins regardless of the FSU game. How is this a hard choice?

I know Oregon is probably marginally better for Texas in terms of CFP placement but I kind of just prefer UW. I like Seattle and Dubs is a cool mascot. And their uniforms aren’t as dumb.

This is kinda where I'm at though I guess I still want Oregon to win. Maybe last second FG in an ugly game. I wish the records were flipped and I could pull for UW though

I think Oregon and Bama need to lose. I don't want to have to compete with one loss Georgia and a one loss Washington if FSU losses. Best to eliminate Oregon and Bama. The winner of the SEC and Pac 12 are almost certainly going anyway.

This is fine thinking if you just assume FSU loses. If FSU wins and Oregon and Bama lose, then we are absolutely out of it and no one complains. If those teams win, then at least there's discussion. Plus, what has been reiterated countless times in this thread about 1-loss conference champs vs 1-loss non conference champs.

If FSU, Washington, and Georgia all lose, congrats - Bama, Oregon, and Texas take their place. It's simple

    Kansas State's wins this year:

    SEMO (FCS)

    Troy (10-2)

    UCF (6-6)

    Texas Tech (6-6)

    TCU (5-7)

    Baylor (3-9)

Kansas (8-4) but against 3rd string walk-on QB. They lose this game by 10+ if Bean plays.

I guess Troy was a decent win but K-State looks like one of the biggest frauds in the country now that I look at what they accomplished.

Not that I necessarily disagree with your final assessment, but I'd be curious how many 9-3/8-4/7-5 teams have similar resumes. It could just be these teams beat the teams they're supposed to, lose to the ones that are better than them, and maybe have a game or two go either direction (win a game they shouldn't or lose a game they should win).

Man, no idea what you're looking at but even with Oregon and UW leaving the PAC, there's WAY too much sentimental shit out there for the PAC. Oregon or Washington are 100% guaranteed to get in.

Nope. Washington is 100% getting in if they win. If Oregon wins, it isn't 100%. Sure, are the odds high? Yes, especially since the committee has repeatedly put them over us. I'm not arguing that. But, if it's down to Oregon and Texas, the committee at least has to answer themselves. Even if Oregon has a 99% chance, that still gives Texas a chance. Texas has no chance with Washington winning.

Some of y'all are being intentionally obtuse.
