Zierlien’s schtick is wearing thin. He’s a shill for anything LSU and aggy because of his hatred for Texas. I’m a big fan of the Stingley pick, but I think they missed out on a perennial Pro Bowler in Jordan Davis. That man will eat people alive.

He's a 2 technician, we need a lineman.  Green can move move up and down the line, guard to tackle and he's a football player.  I trust Caserio

Not sure, but I think Bama pressing for Holstein is a good sign.  I think if they felt good, they would not be pushing for him so hard.

And what I don't understand is Holstein loves Bama, that's why he decommited, and Saban pushed for that.   He's visited there 3 times. So, is Saban using him for bait, and why no commitment?  Shitty thing to do if Arch commits, because Holstein loves the school

All this speculation needs to stop.  Our BMD didn't okay that money to watch Hudson start.  Sarkisian knows the deal, Ewers is the starter.

And if Hudson wants to go, then he should.  We have Maalik, most likely Arch.  I think Alabama pressing for Holstein shows they're not confident.

Why won't NIL make scholly numbers irrelevant? Instead of officially having a traditional athletic scholarship, players 85+ and those over the limit each year can just have their tuition, fees, etc paid by boosters?

Less than 1% will reach the league.  Most have heavily involved parents that think beyond twitter and actually care about their kid's future and fallback plans beyond nli money.  50,000 grand goes quick

I get that you operate in some fantasy world where freshmen can automatically come in and completely turn a 5-7 program into a dominating football team, but it’s possible it will take a little time for this group to grow into its potential. Having 10 wins as a minimal expectation a year after losing to Kansas, at home, is really fucking stupid. Could it happen? Hell yeah, but setting the bar there isn’t fair to anyone.

I agree it's hard for a freshman to make a big impact; just look at Colt, Hunter Lawrence, Peyton Manning, Jake Fromm, James Winston, Dan Marino, Johnny Manziel, the list goes on.  It just takes time
