Yeah that's pretty big wild card.
They are going to be a huge draw this year out the curiosity factor, but if he fires out a 2-10 type season that curiosity will fade.
and if he goes 10-2, he'll bolt for an actual Power conference instead of this CUSA/BIg8 mashup.
I like how in 2024 the Big 12 will have 13 teams and 28 years of history, yet only 3 big 12 champion game winners among their entire group of members, with Kstate being the winningest conference game champion at 2 wins. literally a conference of losers. More than 2/3 of the conference's title game winners reside in other conferences now, lol.

If Deion is still there, Colorado will be the new Big 12's biggest draw.
And if UofH moves to Austin and becomes The University of Texas, then the Big 12's draw will be HUGE!!

Gotta laugh at how every addition the big 12 makes these days creates a new bottom feeder for the conference

Colorado once had a nationally relevant program while Rutgers has always been bad.
Their nationally relevant program needed 5 downs to beat Mizzou. What a joke.

So much movement for such a suck-shit team and a conference that won't be a major force in football in 15 years.

Did shitposting he would buy it cause that or did he make a binding qualified offer that was accepted?
IIRC the deal was him posting publicly about buying twitter started drastically affecting twitter's, tesla's and spaceX's stock, and he'd been doing shit like that for a while which was getting him in trouble with the SEC. Meanwhile, his public posts about a $44 billion evaluation had caused Twitter's c-level board to, due to fiduciary obligation, take the evaluation seriously and start acting on it as though it was a legit bid. In order to avoid getting in trouble with the SEC on yet another extreme cause of stock manipulation, he had to act like his postings were legitimate interest, and it kind of went from there until he actually submitted a for-real bid that locked him into his current course.

I said interesting business mind, not brilliant. Show us on the doll where JD touched you, NoName.
Not me, but quite a number of my friends lost a shitload of money investing with Block, which turned out to be literal fraud.

You’re making my point. He never had to buy the fucking thing. If his goals for this company are what you have described he could have done all that as a startup or under the auspices of one of his existing companies for a lot less than one billion dollars much less 44. He bought it and it is worth a fraction of what he bought it for, because he vastly overpaid for it, because he and has made seemingly the worst decision at possible every step of the way since he acquired it.
Hey I want to corner the ketchup market. I’m going to call it ‘T’. Let me get started by buying Coca Cola
The most embarrassing part is that the look and feel of twitter already had an open source, freeware clone in Mastodon. Even dumbshit sites like Truth Social didn't try and reinvent the wheel, they used the freeware tools everyone else uses. He went the most expensive, round-about way possible to achieve this X website.

Hell, you didn't see Facebook throw away the brand with Meta
Just a note, they did: Meta eventually became the name of the parent company, but before that, they stupidly renamed Oculus to Meta, and achieved similarly terrible results. Oculus had already become synonymous with VR, and it actually killed their professional line, which was announced dead just a few days ago. Companies were still asking about "Oculus" when they'd talk to Meta, despite the brand name "oculus" no longer existing.
That's partially why this X shit is so dumb. If you look at Meta, they made the exact same mistake in an even smaller market and ate shit for it. Yet here goes musk.

Radiant is the blood of the baboon heart is one of the best finales ever. It completely sticks the landing and is a worthy conclusion to a 20-year running, story-heavy series like the venture bros. Only problem is it fucks up the entire series by introducing a plot hole.
The end of the very first season of the Venture Bros transforms the show from a goof-of-the-week Johnny Quest parody into what the show would be really known for -- a lore rich, serial-format show with lots of mysterious backstory. The episode introduces the two core concepts of the show: Dr. Venture has access to cloning technology and willingly uses it to clone his sons when they die, and that he himself is a brother, having swallowed his fraternal twin in the womb. Both of these revelations set off a series of mysteries that don't wrap up until the final moments of the movie.
However, it's teased in season 7 that the Monarch and Dr. Venture are actually at least half-brothers (And their dad was a colossal dick). The movie clarifies this, picking up on a hanging thread from a few seasons back: Rusty is also a clone. The technology they use to bring his sons back to life, his father also used on Rusty when he died on their adventures. Hence, the Dr. Venture we follow was not born in a womb, he was grown as a teenager in a pod. However, this directly contradicts Jonas Venture Jr.'s existence, since we saw him swallowed in the womb. If Dr. Venture really is a clone, he could not have been the one who swallowed Jonas Venture Jr. That body that Jonas Venture Jr was in should have died decades ago, with Jonas Venture Jr.
Oh well, fucking incredible ending to an incredible show either way.

Great analogy. You're comparing the number of views on a song released 2.5 years ago with a song released a few months ago.
Montero was streamed 147 million times in its opening week:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/09/27/arts/music/lil-nas-x-montero-billboard.html
if this NUMBER 1 SMASH HIT KUNTry music song keeps on its trajectory, in 28 more weeks, when it's as old as Montero is right now, it'll still have been streamed 10 million times less than Montero was streamed in the first fucking week. LMFAO what a moron.
