It’s a fine line for sure but it’s worth the risk. Not to marry of course.https://memes.getyarn.io/yarn-clip/07f430c6-2e3f-4575-be94-2617d476907b

He was such a good player.
Need some DBU guys sons to get to high school. it’s been that long. Aaron Ross and Sonya Richards offspring would have every genetic advantage to be players in something.

Dude is really really good. He is small and compact so wont be replace AD Mitchell on the jump balls in the end zone but has elite speed and quickness off the line, runs good routes and has solid hands. One of the best WRs in the Pac12 over the past few years...
Sounds like a slot guy, in the mold of all the Texas tech guys that tormented us all the time.

Difficult to see it go down that way in the end. Horns had no business getting the 4 chances at the end. With all the penalties. 10+ passing bombs by Penis. Conservative play calls until down by 2 touchdowns and on and on. Washington player injury giving 45 seconds versus maybe 15?
The play calling was not to lose instead of let it rip how the game was called against Bama.
If the miracle did occur we would all know we would’ve won with an asterisk watching the actual game.
I would’ve loved to see the win mostly because I’d love to get a chance at that asshat Harbaugh but Washington was the better team tonight. Their guys wanted it more.
The season was more successful than anyone could’ve predicted so kudos to the horns. We just had to run into an Alpha in Penix which has always been longhorn kryptonite.
Ewers is not the dark knight yet hopefully he gets there if he stays.- 3

The OU version has all their recruits doing the horns down.

Derrick Johnson might be cute pick that I’ve heard a few spots but there’s no way that’s serious right?
Give him an honorary title and let him bring lambo/ferraris cars practice so the younguns can take pictures next to DJ with cut off sleeves aka Huff a couple years ago.

Georgia has some decent players in the portal on the defensive side of the ball.
Last Georgia transfer worked out quite well for us.

1) It’s a lot.
2) If he could run a 4.45 40, he’d be a 1st round pick. Rumor has it that he can’t.
Mitchell will be a very comfortable man by the end of April, but his best chance to be a wealthy man will come with a second NFL contract.
He’s demonstrated big catches for the best college teams against elite DBs. If Texas wins it all probably be only player in history to have 3 NCAA championship rings let alone at 2 different schools. What I like is he snatches the ball out of the air with his hands. Has sneaky speed.
Nothing really left to do in college. I’ve enjoyed watching him this year and best of luck young man.

This makes no sense. He has to get to recruiting, assistants and support staff immediately. Glad for him and hope we can land someone as good.
Can one of our analysts be promoted to lb coach for a month?

Coleman Hutzler.
Agreed when I noticed the improvement in LB play.
but isn’t he at Bama?
-
How’d he fare against or D line?

Get the Thor kid from Harvard and couple other big guys. Need some depth before the underclassmen mature.
Sweat and Murphy are gone. They deserve to go out on top. Hell maybe even Collins goes late late round.
When’s last time both starting DTs have reception touchdowns?

Any injury updates on QE? Surely something has been leaked to the 9.95 ers or big cigars, practice pics , in a sling or not?
Think a good problem to have is Malik or Arch plays good enough to get to big12 championship then you have to choose.
Why can’t we have a situation where all three are championship. Didn’t Ohio state win with Cardale Jones?

this is bad. Texas is one of the few teams in the country running 18-20 yard curl routes. Most teams do not run those, because they do not have QBs with strong enough arms. I have no idea where this odd take that Quinn does not have a strong arm comes from. Its kind of bizarre.
Think because we’ve seen Malik throw the ball straight through people like a fatality

In seven games, Melvin Hills has 38 tackles, with 12.5 for loss and 10 sacks.
Gotta love those kids that just commit and don’t hear any drama about them.

Second that. Brooks is a beast. How many missed tackles today.
Baxter is clearly a step down though excited to see how he develops with time.
Gives me a little D’onta vibes. Just kinda gets to work and then you look at the stat sheet and he has like 180 yards. -
Observations from a guy who doesn’t know shit but sees patterns.
1st play of game Greg Davis special. WR screen without numbers advantage. Oh boy here we go again.
2nd play. ? WTF. seen this before going to get ugly.
Surprise: super aggressive 4th down going for it and fake punts? Is this A Texas team?
1st down on the 1. Yes it’s kinda hard to get a yard when the other team knows exactly what you’re doing.
How we get that long field goal? Eh doesn’t matter too much time left on the clock.
yep. Let’s switch to prevent defense that always works for Texas. Mean you are going for on 4th downs/fake punts. And now you want to turtle up and go soft defense… fucking man press and spy the qb. If they beat you bad at least you get the ball back with more than 15 seconds and with time outs. Don’t go full retard and send delayed safety blitzes but don’t give the receivers free releases and 15 yard cushions.
Texas coaches fucked this one up. OU just played reckless. With 3 TO against it shouldn’t have been close so at least players played hard and didn’t give up.

So what’s the positive predictive value of a recruit ultimately signing with the horns if they throw up the horns during a visit versus not throwing them up?
