First of all, completely agree with all of the complaints about clock management and overly conservative play calling. But despite that, the snap penalty was BS. Whether or not a DL jumps is irrelevant. If the movement is a false start, it should be called every time.

It is the entire GOP Platform. I got mine, fuck you.
Look to Abbot, I got a pile of cash, but fuck you for trying to do the same.
Look how the olds vote, I get my check, fuck everyone else.
I'm an old. I got mine. I still hope Dem, because it's what is right.

I also question if she's really working 70 hour weeks.
I think most people married to Ted Cruz would stay at work as much as they could.

Why is there so little discussion about the hypocrisy of Cruz's immigration policy? His father was given political asylum in the U.S. after he got out of Cuba by bribing a government official there. Yet thousands of people fleeing violent totalitarian regimes are now treated as criminals upon reaching U.S. soil.

Comedy from a true idiot. The author's bio on football scoop says, in part: " Zach joined the staff in 2012...and has been attempting to improve Doug and Scott's writing ability ever since (to little avail) " A guy who thinks the following is the proper usage of matriculate is attempting to improve others' writing skills.
"But it’s about more than just how Fisher chooses to matriculate the ball down the field."
It's not surprising that his bio doesn't say where he matriculated.

Fun fact of the week: Texas has won the exact same number of SEC championships as aggy.

Texas lost to Kansas State three years in a row (2010 - 2012) by the following scores:
39-14
17-13
42-24
Texas outgained Kansas State in those three games by the following (yards):
142
189
51
So in three games we lost by a combined 47 points but outgained them by 382 yards.
We also lost to NC State in 1997 despite outgaining them by 200 yards AND winning the turnover battle.
Note: The misery index is a tad less miserable when we're 6-1.
The 2011 K State game was the worst. K State had 121 yards of total offense. They had 39 rushing yards on 38 attempts. They scored 17 points by drives of 13 yards after an interception (FG), 54 yards after a terrible punt catch interference penalty (TD), and 37 yards after another interception (TD). They had 4 drives the entire game that were not 3 and out. They had only 3 drives more than 13 yards. Their first half drives were:
3 plays, minus 5 yards
8 plays, 13 yards
3 plays, 2 yards
3 plays, 3 yards
3 plays, minus 8 yards
3 plays, minus 7 yards
8 plays, 54 yards
Their second half drives were:
3 plays, 7 yards
7 plays, 37 yards
3 plays, 1 yard
7 plays, 31 yards
3 plays, minus 6 yards
3 plays, 4 yards

Last night: Patriots 43 -- Chiefs 40.
First NFL game ever to end with a score of 43-40.

Cruz-loving WIlco Republican Facebook friend is extra pissy because of all the Beto shirts he saw at the Cedar Park HEB this morning. Raises an interesting question: has anybody ever seen a person wearing a Cruz shirt?

So my 97 year old grandmother (she can still drive a golf cart slowly and cognitively all there still!) up in Sun City/Georgetown who has never voted Democratic in maybe 50+ years told me yesterday as the kids saw their great-grandmother that she was voting against Cruz because she thinks he looks like a rat.
Her eyesight is still pretty good.

i can blame ted cruz for bemoaning the lack of respect and civility in our society as he runs a campaign focused on hate and fear
Yep. His diatribe yesterday about the Kavanaugh situation being a smear campaign made me want to puke, given the way he has run his campaign against Beto.

His drinking denial is so obvious I can't even.
Kavanaugh should have it on his calendar.

Lawyers generally make bad witnesses. Judges even worse.

Yep, I said earlier that Ted Cruz wants no part in questioning her when his race is already as tight as it is.
I wonder if he even has the courage to vote tomorrow.

Surely before this is over she will ask if Dr. Ford knows anything about Hillary's emails.

Then why are they publicly implying Kavanaugh is guilty? I mean, they can't have it both ways.
Maybe because they actually think he IS guilty, based on the proof of the sworn testimony being provided by the victim.

Dr. Ford walked into this hearing "terrified". Nine male Senators will walk out terrified.

Two men have come forward to members of the Senate Judiciary Committee to claim that they are the ones who actually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford during a house party in 1982 — and not Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Then subpoena them to testify.
